Paula Abdul To Quit American Idol 2009?
Paula Abdul is reportedly considering quitting American Idol.
Paula has been a judge on the show since it aired in 2002 however after the recent suicide scandal she is said to have had enough of the whole thing.
“Paula has a reality show on MTV and her jewellery line. She’s got no reason to put herself through the stress of the show if she doesn’t want to,” a source told MSNBC.
“She’s all but done and given her other successes she has no reason to be afraid about speaking out now.”
Paula’s departure wouldn’t be a huge loss to the show especially as record producer Kara DioGuardi will be joining the panel this year, and actually has recent experience of the music industry!

are you stupid or something? american idol wouldnt last without paula. “it wouldnt be a great loss”. honey, paula is getting 99 % of the attention. without her, Idol has Nothing. and fox knows that. fortunatily, she is not leaving the show.

Like Letterman says, Paula single hand makes American Idol nr 1. No paula= no more Idol.
PS: You know who discovered Kara? Paula Abdul did… And Im sure I dont have to tell you how much attention Paula Abdul gets, and how Little attention the other judges get, compared to her, in America. Because she is the only one America gives a damn about! show would dive in the ratings without her. That being said, she is not leaving Idol in 2009. If anything she may be getting more money.
