Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan is the bookies’ favourite to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol.

Simon’s brother previously revealed that the music mogul plans to quit the show after the upcoming season and the former newspaper editor and America’s Got Talent judge has odds of 2-1 to take over when Cowell leaves.

Online betting site bookmaker.com is also offering odds on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs stepping into Cowell’s shoes (3-1).
