Singing superstar Rihanna has been lined up to appear on next week’s American Idol results show.

While the contestants sing songs from the Lennon/McCartney songbook, Rihanna will perform “Te Amo”, a song from her latest album, Rated R.

Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban are this year’s final 9, after Wednesday night’s elimination of Didi Benami.

The Lennon/McCartney songbook excludes those Beatles songs written and owned by George Harrison and his estate.
