Tim Urban has been the latest contestant to be eliminated from American Idol.

On Tuesday night’s ‘Inspirational Songs’ themed show, Tim gave his rendition of Better Days by The Goo Goo Dolls. Simon Cowell said the performance was ‘a little bit of a let down,’ while Kara DioGuardi added ‘it wasn’t your best performance.’

The American public agreed and last night the 20 year old Texan found himself in the bottom three alongside Casey James and Aaron Kelly….eventually Ryan Seacrest announced that it would be Teflon Tim leaving the show.

On hearing the news Tim said:

“I know this has completely changed my life and I take away so many things from it I couldn’t even begin to tell you.”

“This experience has been bigger and crazier and more than I ever expected. It’s meant everything to me.”
