Andrew Lloyd Webber “In Awe” Of Graham Norton

Graham NortonAndrew Lloyd Webber has admitted to being in awe of Graham Norton and believes he is a great presenter for BBC’s Any Dream Will Do.

“I’m just in awe of Graham. His talent is boundless,” Andrew told The Sun. “He does the whole show with an earpiece in and has to concentrate on what he’s saying while someone is firing instructions at him from off-stage. I couldn’t do that!”

He added: “I absolutely love doing the show. I always forget the cameras are there and get caught up in the moment. The show is constructed like a musical in itself. Keeping the audience entertained from start to finish is a challenge and we have to carry their concentration through from A to B.”

I have always thought Graham Norton is fab. I love his flamboyant style.

I only wish the public would take it seriously & vote for the talent & not how the contestants look!!!

Graham and ALW do seem to get on very well. Graham is a consumate host and when required is a very funny man.

Graham because of his flamboyant personality should be fronting out televisions for a lot of years to come.

With reference to voting viewers tend to vote according to what they like to hear and what they like to see. The viewing public are not really qualified to say who should do what, so they can only vote according to taste. Taste and skill are unfortunately not one and the same.

In the final I would hate to be in ALW shoes if on final night he has to select between Keith and Lee. For the present series ‘Any dream will do’ final. The Scottish voters friends and family will be rooting for Keith and the mainstream theatre interested people and of course his friends and family rooting for Lee. Hopes do ride high. ALW will be able to feel the edge from the live audience in the studio, he will be tense and nervous when making a decision. Irrespective of who he selects and what he says there will be boos, and geers and lots of tears.

In the real world away from television making of reality based tv talent shows the world is a lot harsher.

From our living rooms though and TV recording studio this is cushioned. Already prepared for a soft fall.
