Any Dream Will Do: John Barrowman Tips Craig Chalmers and Keith Jack For Final
Any Dream Will Do judge and former leading man, John Barrowman has tipped the two Scottish contestants, Craig Chalmers and Keith Jack, as contenders for the shows final.
“I think the standard of talent is excellent, particularly Craig and Keith, who are both good Scottish boys. All the other boys in general are all of a very good standard and high quality,” Barrowman told the Daily Record.
“I always remain impartial but I’m thrilled that two Scottish boys are getting close to the final. But it’s Scotland, you know what I mean. They’re the two cans of Irn Bru up on stage.
“I can see a leading man in some of them. I can see careers in some of them, but none has gone, wow. They don’t have that showbiz factor yet.”

As good as both Craig and Keith are (Keith was definitely
the best performer in yesterdays performance) I will be very
very shocked if the final two is not Lee Mead and Daniel
Boys. I think they are both brillant, but Lee Mead is
by far my favourite.

Daniel Boys is by far the most talented, as much as I like Keith and Craig, they don’t have the experience in acting and dancing plus the need to carry a 8 shows a week West End stage. Lee did not carry his last song well as it really challenged his vocal range. As the vocal coach admitted, they have test Daniel out in 4 different versions of song and he pulls it off with proffesionalism, talent and is a breath of fresh air. Andrew is too experience to put a novice in the lead role. DANIEL BOYS IS JOSEPH, the audience erupts when he is on. He has stage presence in abundance and looks the part with a sexy glint in his eye…..Perfection.

I think the judges were very misleading,the vocal coach admits to giving Daniel completly different songs. John and Denise want him to do something different…..I mean, as Andrew said, you cant get anymore different from a Frank Sinatra song and a McFly song, give us a break panel and stop being bias, judge on ability. Thank god Andrew is on the panel….man with sense.

I think that sometimes the judges are too hard on the best ones (ie Daniel and Lee). They expect more from them. I do think the judges were unnecessarily harsh on both Daniel and especially Lee this week, but they hardly mentioned the fact that say Rob (who I do like) was completely out of tune!! I don’t know what they really expect Daniel to do that different if they keep giving him love songs, I am really confused about what they expect from Daniel! Lee Mead to win

but john would go for the scottish because he was born in scotland and lived there until he was 10 or something!!
so he’s a bit biased XD
but Lee should win! and keith is too young to play joseph.
i think he’s the right age for benjamin.

I love Ben he is defently Joseph. Why do the judges always expect something spectacular from lee he is`nt that amzing.

Would love to have seen an all scottish final with craig as the winner, but seeing as it all went pear shaped tonight. Go Go Keith. andrews decision was all wrong again this week. is he trying to get rid of the good opposition so as Lee has a straight run to the west end stage????? lookin like it to me now. Craig you have an amazing talent and would have travelled from Ireland to see you on the west end stage in Joseph. I have no doubt I will be travelling to the west end before long to see you in another porduction. Best of luck in the future. you were still my joseph
