Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead enjoyed their recent secret wedding so much, that they are planning to recreate it for all their extended family and friends at home.

Last month Denise and Any Dream Will Do winner Lee jetted off to the Seychelles last month, where they got married with just twenty of their nearest and dearest in attendance. However Denise told The Mirror that they intend to have a second wedding in their new home in Kent for the rest of their friends and family.

Speaking at the She magazine’s Inspiring Women Awards Denise said: “We’re going to have a big celebration in September with all of our friends who weren’t there.

“We’re having it at the house we just bought in Kent, which means we have a lot of work to do. I’ve just got back from my honeymoon and I’m up to my elbows in DIY.”

On why they didn’t sell pictures of their wedding day, Denise said:

“Selling my wedding to a magazine was never an option because I didn’t get married to make money. Me and Lee just aren’t like that.

“We both have good careers and that’s how we make our money.

“We started planning a romantic getaway the moment he proposed.

“A lot of our married friends who had big days said they got stressed and ended up forgetting things.

“We only had 20 people and I remember every minute. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m so happy.”
