The parents of X Factor finalist Rhydian Roberts have slammed Sharon Osbourne for humiliating their son in public and being nice to him in private, they went as far to call her a “two-faced old harridan”.
“Sharon’s a hypocritical old harridan. She has the nerve to slag our son off in front of the cameras and then, when they’re in private, she tells him he sings beautifully and she hopes that he wins,” Rhydian’s father Malcom told the News of the World.
“The other day she even gave him a big hug off camera and told him she loved him. She’s completely two-faced. Rhydian’s still a young man and she’s messing with his mind quite unnecessarily. It’s doing his head in.” Read more & comment »

Letitia Dean has had to endure a week of heated rows with her dance partner Darren Bennett after he accused her of letting her recent marriage breakup affect her concentration.
Earlier this week, Bennett stormed out of reheasals shouting: “Take this show seriously or I’m not coming back!” He later returned to fulfil his contractual obligations, but the atmosphere remained tense as the pair practised the tango.
A source told the News of the World: “There was a huge amount of yelling and screaming. There has been for days. But this was their biggest bust-up yet. Darren screamed at Letitia for not taking the competition seriously enough.”

The wife of Britain’s Got Talent winner, Paul Potts has recently started IVF treatment to help her conceive.
The couple were having trouble becoming pregnant for a number of years, but IVF was always too expensive and out of reach. Luckily, Paul now has a number one album under his belted and a thriving singing career, so the pair have decided that now it the time to start their family.
A friend told the Sunday Mirror: “Twins seem to run in Paul’s family so he has decided he wants quads. He says he wants four kids the first time round - although of course they will be happy with one.”

Sisi Jghalef has admitted that she tried to commit suicide at home last weekend, following her recent X Factor scandal.
Sisi started out as a solo X Factor auditionee, but soon joined girl band Hope, who went on to make it through to the XF live shows.
However, before she even set foot on the stage, Sisi was kicked off the X Factor due to a recent criminal charge.
“Once my X Factor dream was shattered I plunged into a bottomless pit of total depression and worthlessness,” Sisi told The People. “On the outside I still tried to be the same bubbly Sisi going out clubbing and being the life and soul of the party but inside I was falling apart.”
“One night I sat in my bedroom watching over and over re-runs of the wonderful moment I’d been told I’d made the final,” she continued. “It was everything I’d ever wanted and worked towards. I laid on my bed crying my eyes out and sobbing uncontrollably knowing it was never going to happen. Read more & comment »

Oh No!! How can Simon Cowell allow this to happen?
Just a few short weeks ago we reported on rumours that world renowned weirdo Michael Jackson would be making an appearance on this years X Factor series.
I hoped it was a tabloid rumour, but Simon Cowell today confirmed that it was true.
“I got a call from his people saying he really likes the show and would love to be a part of it,” Simon told The Mirror. “There are also some other amazing guests. Kylie’s doing the live final and Leona’s coming on too.”
I just pity the finalists left at that stage. How on earth do you make conversation with a man that has a hanky tied round his face?

An old singing teacher of X Factor finalist Rhydian Roberts has spoken out today about the apparent sabotage of Rhydian Roberts reputation by X Factor producers.
“Rhydian told me they sent him an email telling him to arrive between 11am and 12pm - and sent everyone else one that said to arrive at 10am,” Michael Barry told The Mirror. “Then they show him being told off for arriving late. It’s a nasty way to treat a talented young man.”
Rhydian has also claimed this week that he feels his footage and time to camera was badly edited to make him seem like a pantomime villain, when in fact he’s just a big softy (?).
So did the X Factor producers warn the judges tonight to be nice to Rhyd? He didn’t receive one bad comment and even Sharon was nice to him. Simon told him that he had delivered the best performance of the night……. was it all a fix to try and make good with the boy they had set up?

Fearne Cotton has just announced on The Xtra Factor that world renowned songbird Celine Dion will be appearing on next weeks X Factor live show.
I think that this is one of the better artists that have signed up to appear on the big X. I really hope that she gets some mentor time with the finalists, one would imagine that a seasoned singer and performer like Celine could pass on some very valuable tips and advice to the X Factor wannabes.
However, lets hope that Mr Cowell has given up on the silly themed nights as I can’t really imagine Leon, Andy or especially Rhydian belting out a Celine Dion power ballad.
