X Factor: Jedward to make their second Eurovision attempt with Waterline

Jedward are hoping to represent Ireland in the Eurovision song contest for the second time, it has been reported.

Last year they boys headed to Düsseldorf, to perform their track ‘Lipstick’ in 2011 competition and ended up finishing in eighth place.

The X Factor stars are keen to repeat the experience and have chosen a track named “Waterline”, which was penned written by Nick Jarl – who has previously written with Westlife – for their 2012 Eurovision entry. The track will also feature backing vocals from Leanne Moore – the winner of the 2008 series of Irish talent show You’re a Star – and former “X Factor” finalist Melanie McCabe.

X Factor USA: Nicole Scherzinger hints that she might be joining ITV and Andrew Lloyd Webber on ‘Superstar’ (VIDEO)

Nicole Scherzinger was axed from The X Factor USA only a week ago, but already it seems that she may have another job all lined up.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer confirmed just a few days ago that Simon Cowell had indeed dropped her from the judging lineup of the hit Fox talent show, as he did with his close pal Paula Abdul and former show host Steve Jones.

In an interview with Access Hollywood the brunette beauty admitted that she had a ‘wonderful experience’ on the series and has no regrets about taking the job last year.

However, it’s time to move on and it has been rumoured that Nicole will next be joining her old pal Andrew Lloyd Webber on his new reality TV show, ‘Superstar.’

Nickelodeon bosses to give One Direction their own show?

Not content with pursuing their record breaking music career, it seems that One Direction could soon become TV stars in their own right too.

Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson recently traveled to America, to record a guest appearance on Nickelodeon show iCarly, alongside Miranda Cosgrove.

Insiders are now reporting that network bosses were so impressed not just by their performance, but also by the reaction the boys got by their thousands of American fans, that they are keen to sign them for their own series.

Dermot O’Leary hints that he won’t be replacing Steve Jones on X Factor USA

Dermot O’Leary has admitted that he is keen to keep presenting the British version of The X Factor and is not eyeing up the free spot on the American series.

The hunky presenter had of course put his name in the hat, when Simon Cowell was looking for a star to host his US series last year but was snubbed when the music mogul picked Welsh presenter Steve Jones over him.

Celebrity Big Brother: Denise Welch calls police after Twitter abuse gets out of hand

Denise Welch is reportedly reeling from the amount of abuse she has received on Twitter this week.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner announced on Monday that she has been separated from her husband of 24 years Tim Healy for quite a while and insisted that she is not having an affair with 39 year old toyboy Lincoln Townley, but that her family have known about the relationship for quite some time.

Her words didn’t ring true for many people and after her appearance on Loose Women, Twitter was alight with doubters who claimed that she was just trying to save face and her career.

Simon Cowell wants Katy Perry and Madonna but not Mariah Carey for X Factor USA

Simon Cowell has admitted that both Katy Perry and Madonna would be on the list of his dream judges for his American X Factor series.

The music mogul fired Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from the judging panel of the show last week and is currently on the lookout for two stars who can replace the female singers.

Many names have been in the frame for the role and speaking to his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour on Extra yesterday, Cowell addressed a few of the rumours.

OMG has MC Harvey just admitted that he was lying about Cheryl Cole?

The plot thickens!

Just hours after Now magazine had their so called ‘legal expert’ look at emails MC Harvey claims were sent to him by X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, the rapper has suggested that he may have been lying about the whole thing.

Yesterday Now’s media lawyer claimed that the messages were 100% authentic and suggested a romantic relationship between Chez and Harvey, however during an interview on Choice FM’s breakfast show, Alesha Dixon’s ex husband appeared to backtrack a little on his claims.

Len Goodman doesn’t think Arlene Phillips wants to come back for Strictly Come Dancing 2012

Len Goodman has cast doubts on rumours that Arlene Phillips is all set to return to Strictly Come Dancing later this year.

The choreographer was axed from the BBC show three years ago, when bosses decided they wanted a younger star on the panel and replaced her with Alesha Dixon. However, Alesha jumped ship last month and moved to rival channel ITV and their show Britain’s Got Talent and ever since, numerous so called insiders have been suggesting that Phillips is gearing up for her big return.

Ohh is Caroline Flack over One Direction’s Harry Styles already? New man alert!

Caroline Flack split from Harry Styles last week and was said to be totally devastated by the breakup, however she doesn’t look too concerned in these pictures in today’s Sun newspaper.

The Xtra Factor presenter, 32 was reportedly forced to separate from the 18 year old One Direction singer last month, when his management team decided that their relationship and age gap could cause problems for the band’s image, especially when they traveled to America for their upcoming tour.

Katarina Witt, Robin Cousins, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean to perform on Dancing On Ice 2012 Olympics special (VIDEO)

ITV bosses have lined up an amazing treat for all you Dancing On Ice fans, they have managed to talk some of the world biggest legends in the world of ice skating, to take to the rink as part of a special one off show.

It has been claimed that producers had to beg, plead and cajole with show judge Katarina Witt to return to the rink for the first time in four years and as part of the special Olympics themed show, she will be joined on the ice by fellow judge Robin Cousins and of course head coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
