BBLB: George Lamb Disappointed For Zezi Ifore

George Lamb has said that he is disappointed for his former co-host Zezi Ifore and admitted that his lack of rapport with her could have led to her sacking.
Zezi came under fire for her wooden presenting style and left half way through last years series of Big Brother’s Little Brother.
BBC6 Music host George told MSN: “My radio show I do with my best friend, who I have an incredible rapport with and we can finish each other’s sentences – unless you’ve got a relationship like that with your co-host, it’s not really worth having a co-host.”
“She’s a lovely girl and I’m sad it didn’t work out for her,” he said. “Unfortunately she got thrown in at the deep end and she didn’t have enough experience, and as a result it just didn’t pan out the way they’d originally thought.”
But he insisted Zezi had a bright future ahead of her and used a football analogy to get his point across:
“There are lots of footballers who get a run-out in the first team and it’s good for experience and it doesn’t quite work out for them and they maybe go off – David Beckham was on loan at Preston North End for a year when he’d already been in the first team at Man U, that’s what happens,” he said.
“Sometimes you have to go away and come back a bit stronger and you’ll have a great time. But it just wasn’t her time.”
