Emily Parr has made a public apology for using a racist term during her time in the Big Brother house.

Speaking on Big Brother’s Little Brother, Emily said, “This is not an excuse this is an explanation. I would never try to excuse what I said. I said something awful and I’m so sorry.”

She added, “As soon as I said that, I was like what was that, where did that come from?

“I’m so glad that Channel 4 allowed everything was aired because people needed to see the context of where it came from.

“I’m not racist. I can’t stress that enough. I’m just a liberal girl living in a liberal society.”
