The Daily Star has reported that Big Brother 2007 will be the gayest it has ever been. Endemol are said to be hunting out more gay housemates as it is thought that not only do the public respond well to gay housemates but they also some of the best footage and most talked about moments.

It is said that at least half of this years 14 housemates will be gay.

A show insider said:

“We desperately want Big Brother 8 to be remembered for camp fun and frolics rather than fights and fisticuffs.

“We want to get away from the Celebrity Big Brother race row with Jade and Shilpa.

“And we want to avoid another Fight Night where even the police had to be called. Some of our best contestants in previous years have been gay.

“We’ve even had lesbo kisses, queer romances and bitchy handbags-at-dawn showdowns.

“Brian Dowling was the first gay champion of a reality TV show back in 2001 and then we had transsexual Nadia Almada winning in 2004.

“We have come to realise that gay people are less inhibited. They love a good bitch and they know how to poke fun and have a laugh.

‘They also make up a huge percentage of our audience and voting targets.

“It’s on course to be our best show yet and will hopefully be remembered as a long, hot summer of brotherly gay love.”
