Two of the Big Brother housemates appeared to be sleepwalking on their second night in the house.

Laura Williams was the first to rise at 4.15am. She headed for the living room, fiddled with the bath and taps for a while, had a look into the garden and then returned to bed.

Lesley Brain rose half an hour later and moved to gaze upon the people in the big bed. Nicky woke up and screamed, causing Lesley to jump back into bed, but minutes later she began chatting to no one in particular.

“Would anybody like a cashew nut?” she enquired. “Can I tempt anyone to a bar of chocolate? Not a whole bar, but a piece. It’s very high-quality, plain chocolate.”

Strange….
