Big Brother doesn’t launch for another week but already some housemates have been evicted.

A couple were lined up to follow in the footsteps of last years housemates Mario and Lisa but were dropped from the series when they broke up.

The Daily Star reports that Melisa Nayah Minton and Daniel Lewis thought they were doing the right thing by being honest with production staff but soon regretted their decision.

Last night a distraught Melisa told the newspaper: “We’re gutt-ed. We thought we’d be up front with them and tell the truth.

“But all they’ve done is dropped us.

“I still think it would have been great TV to put us in the house even though we’ve broken up.”
