Big Brother 2009 Dedicated To Jade Goody

This years Big Brother series is expected to be dedicated to its late housemate, Jade Goody.
Jade died in the early hours of this morning and the Channel 4 reality TV show is expected to host a tribute to her when it returns this May.
An insider told the News Of The World: “Jade was Big Brother. She completely embodied the show.
“This series is a milestone for the show, reaching the decade, so it will be made in tribute to Jade. The series is dedicated to her.”
The programme’s host Davina McCall is expected to say a few words about Jade followed by a video montage of her best moments.
The Big Brother source added: “We have all looked on in horror at what was happening to [Jade] after she became ill. Our biggest star, our only real star, faded in front of our eyes.
“We cannot deny Jade’s importance to Big Brother and we definitely can’t deny how much she meant to our viewers. They genuinely loved her and so did we.”

It is just such a shame that a young woman is taken in her prime and that her 2 boys will never truly know what she went throgh for them. what a good role model for young girls these days a strong woman even to the end! i have never made a comment before on a website about a “celeb” but i truly feel that this is the time to thank a very young woman for her courage to do so much for many others! Your friends and family will be forever proud, they lost you but the things that you believe in will now always stand and im sure will save many others!!! Jade u have done your work and your boys will always have their memories now RIP!!!!xxx
Can we now have an end to the preoccupation with this poor woman who seems to have been a publicity junky, and must have had no sense of self worth except for being in the public eye. I pray for her boys to grow up strong without a distorted view of their mum. What a sad society we live in.
shes a racist no-brainer who sponges off the publicity.. soory to hear she passed on but the truth is just that, there are plenty of cancer sufferers more noble than goody…
I think it absolutely disgusting that anyone would take the time to write negative comments about Jade’s death. Whether you liked Jade or not, she was a 27 year old woman with two young children who has died. I think Jade was a remarkable person. She did not have the best of start in life and was definately not the smartest person either, but she did manage to make a shed load of money just by being herself. The negative comments about Jade are totally uncalled for and only add to the devastation her family and friends must be suffering at the moment. Please think about the pain you will cause before you add any negative comments. My thougnts go out to Jade’s family and friends on mother’s day, this special day will never be the same again for any of them.
rest in peace jade goody i hope u rest in peace
I dont mean to sound harsh or anything like that but Jade goody wasnt the only woman who died from cancer; millions before her have done, so why is it that someone who’s famous through such rediculous show such as big brother becomes the “face” of cervical cancer? or any other cancer?
People in general pay way too much attention to the TV and dont realise that those people on TV are like everybody else; there’s one world, and everybody is living on it; there isnt such thing as the celebrity world or the poor world. We’re all on same boat.
Jade didnt deserve to die from cancer because no one does; not because she’s a celebrity. Her kids may have gotten a lot of money through all the publicity, and i dont blame her for doing it, i’d do the same; but why is it that someone who doesnt go on TV cant be the same? i know someone who suffers from cancer and they’re not being made rich for it.
People need to realise we’re all the same.
My best wishes go for everybody out there who are battling cancer, who have battled cancer and won and for those who have battled and werent fortune to win.
R.I.P Jade
Truly Missed Well At Least She Is Somewhere Better And Shez Not In Pain Anymore
Jade Goody Did Not Deserve To Die Frm Cancer Well No One Does Well All I Have To Say Is Rest In Peace … xx
I think record producers should release Jade’s record Rose Garden Song now to support the research and supporting clinical evidence to support the claims from the NHS whom are stating that smears for the under 25s living in England is too risky when other countries with similiar patient populations support cervical smears for the under 25s.
Or are our government stating the cervix of the women in England is made differently to those in NORTHERN IRELAND, WALES, SCOTLAND. How can they justify that the cervix of the women of England is different to the women of Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland??????
i have read all the comments, the good and the bad, they all have a point, i do feel sorry for the young boys losing there mum at a young age, but you would’nt hear about all the young kids that suffer from cancer and have died from it just because thy’re not a celebrity, everyone has a point of view, i think people should just stop now and let jade rest in peace and let her family grieve in peace, her boys don’t need to see or read things about there mum, it would only upset them more.
jade goody/tweed i watched yhoo on t.v and i has seen all ur documentriees and all the other things and i really think thats so sad and my siister said to me that there are so many peole that die of cancer as yhoung as yhoo and and i said yes but we dont know them and yhoo were very big in england and other places and im only 11 and i think its so sad and i wish i could meet the little boy and see how there feeling even though thats sooo stupid becuase obviousley there feeling destrort but i would love to (when im older) try and try and try to find a cre for cancer and i recently found out what a smeer test is and i think thats good that they hav lowered the age and im so sorry for who ever reads this message and knew her and i have runn out of things to say except JADE R.I.P I WILL MISS SEEING YOUR FACE ON T.V EVERY NOW AND THEN GOOGBYEE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
[...] had initially said they would not be making a show dedicated to Jade, instead they planned to do a Big Brother tribute. However, given the massive public response to her death and funeral the channel have done a u-turn [...]
I have read the comments on Jade. I cant say that I was a particular Fan of hers, BUT the fact remains that she did what she did at the end of her life to ensure a life of better quality than she herself had.I admired her for that alone. Whatever else she did to cause the mayhem she sometimes did, she came right at the end for her boys.
I am a cancer survivor myself, so Rest In Peace Jade. God Bless you.
I really had no regard for this potty mouth young lady, however seeing the 8 week reality programme had changed my mind. Jade was a mother and a friend and we all have friends that have health issues. I hope her kids are OK and can see that Jade did it all for them.
At the end of the day its a shame that Jade died due to cancer
and i do feel for the family and her 2 wonderful boys she has left behind, Jade did not derserve to die.
However that still does not change the fact that she was racist and how nasty she was to shilpa shetty.
and shilpa shetty was the bigger person that forgave her.
I am not going to like jade just because she had a ilness thousands of people have cancer and there gfamilies suffer so why is so different?
I think the point is being missed in why Jade is/was a face of cervical cancer – at the end of the day she was a big celebrity and alot of girls were fans of hers and followed her life – surely even if one girls life is saved because of Jades message then thats the main thing.
In life we all make mistakes and I can guarentee that at some point someone has said something to hurt someone which is racist, ageist, fatist whatever (its all the same) and we are no better or worse than Jade.
What I liked about Jade was she was honest and open and what you see is what you get – at the end of the day its better than these other celebs who promote being a size 0 and cause anorexia in very young children.
She had a tough life – and people always comment when they don’t know anything about her except the media (mainly tabloid hype)and think themselves worthy to comment.
She was a wonderful mother and I am sure they are missing their mummy every minute of the day – so just leave her alone now and let people greive for her if they want to!!!
Well, Davina McCall needs *something* to justify her presence on tv.
Like Jade, Davina is only famous because of Big Brother.
It’s proven by the fact that NO other vehicle ever presented to her was of any success; ie the BBC chat show.
Please Davina, stop exploiting people or the karma will hit you and yours like freight train.
Go back to cable where you belong.
