After cross dressing cage fighter Alex Reid won this year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother, sources report that more cross dressers than ever before, have been trying out for the summer season of the show.

As producers traveled all over the UK, trying to find an explosive mix of housemates for the final BB series, insiders confirm that they have been met with more transvestites than ever before.

A source told The Daily Star: “Clearly Alex has had an effect.

“He’s been an inspiration to other trannies who are thinking: ‘If Alex can do it, so can I.’

“Let’s hope the producers build more closets in the house this summer for the guys’ frocks.”

Last night a spokesman for Big Brother admitted: “There were rather a lot of men in make-up and dresses auditioning.”
