For this week’s shopping task housemates must fight all their natural instincts and Ignore the Obvious. For the next three days Big Brother will be sending in a number of distractions to try and get the attention of our housemates.

But in order to pass, the housemates must not react in any way. Reactions include anything from pointing, laughing, gasping, gawping, flinching, closing eyes, smirking and running away.

Yesterday Big Brother did everything to grab the attention of the housemates including a brass band, a male stripper, Mario’s grandfather, Zombies and voice of Big Brother Marcus Bentley.

And today is no different. This morning housemates were woken to an opera singer as their morning alarm as well as a hot, sexy man taking a shower in their bathroom. Later, the house was swarmed by a gaggle of tourists who ran through the house taking pictures.

This afternoon the housemates were joined by Steve and Dave’s wives enjoying afternoon tea in the garden. Knowing they had to ignore them the pair communicated the only way they knew how…through song with renditions of When Your in Love with a Beautiful Woman and Don’t Stop Believing.

Dave also went as far as too take his top off and do some exercises next to his wife to show off his new svelte figure. After the ladies had left the garden Dave and Steve promptly went to the Diary Room…the only place they could talk about what had just happened.

When they emerged from the Diary Room the pair managed to keep up the charade but later Steve could be seen hiding under a towel in the bedroom…possibly shedding a few tears?
