John James Parton has proved that he does have a sense of humour, after playing a practical joke on his pal/girlfriend Josie Gibson.

The Big Brother hunk told Josie that his real mum is country singing legend Dolly Parton, claiming that he was previously too embarrassed to admit the fact.

Lying in bed with the Bristol woman, John James pointed out that he has the same surname as the 9 to 5 singer and claimed that she abandoned him when he was only three years old.

Despite laughing at him, Josie seemed to believe the story giggling: “I’m gonna wet myself.”

John James responded: “I’m being deadly serious.”

After he admitted he had made the whole things up Josie exclaimed:

“I can’t believe I fell for that. I am so gullible.”

She later pointed out:

“I’ve just realised what a really, really good liar you are.”
