For today’s Save & Replace task, it’s Battle of the Brides as the 4 nominated Housemates all become brides. Each bride must choose a trusted companion from amongst their non-nominated fellow Housemates who will become catchers for the duration of the task. Each bride had to pick a different person as their trusted companion.

John James picked JJ
Steve picked Corin
Ben picked Laura

Each bride throws a bouquet of flowers over their heads for their most trusted companion to catch. The brides get five attempts each, and the bride whose bouquet has been caught the most would win the task. In the event of a tie break it would be a case of sudden death bouquet catching.

Dave got 1 catch
Ben got 3 catches
John James and Steve both got 5 catches

As it was a tie-break between John James and Steve both took part in the tie break, taking it in turns to throw their bouquet to their trusted companion. After 8 successful attempts by both brides were still tied. On the ninth attempt JJ was unable to catch John James’ boutique, whilst Corin caught Steve’s accurate throw.

Therefore Steve won this week’s task and saved himself from the public vote and picked Andrew to replace him.
