As we reported yesterday, the housemates learned that they had a new task which was entitled, Selfless Deeds, and rather much as it said on the tin, the housemates had to carry out a selfless deed in order to win a special prize…

And that prize was letters from home for all the housemates. However, for each fail incurred during the challenges, one randomly chosen, or rather, not chosen, HM would lose their letter. Here’s how it worked…

At the end of the task, all the letters were placed in a post box. Each housemate who’d passed their challenge then pulled one out at random and handed the letter to whichever HM it belonged to.

However, Ashleigh failed her challenge by swearing – her Selfless Deed was to lose the potty mouth – so that meant one housemate would miss out on their letter. And as it turned out, that was Deana, which had Ashleigh in apologetic tears…

As to the challenges they all faced, Luke S had to give up his protein powder, Sara had to swap – forever – her eviction outfit for a suit that her beloved Queen might were, while Adam had to sit alone for hours in a tiny boat in the swimming pool.

Scott had to speak with his native Macclesfield accent, Conor had to remain totally silent for hours, Caroline had to eat another fish eye – and yes, she once again became ridiculously hysterical – Becky had to exercise on a stationary bike, and Luke A had to sacrifice his ciggies. And finally, Deana had to go without make-up.
