Big Brother 2012: Brian Dowling teases live feed, housemate couples but says there will be NO sex!
Brian Dowling has revealed that there will be a partial return of the live feed for the 2012 series of Big Brother.
The reality TV show launches on Channel 5 this evening and the Irish star – who fronts the live specials and evictions – told Digital Spy that bosses have agreed to bring back the live feed for big events.
“Initially there will be live feed in the normal series after every live eviction.”
Producers trialed the partial live feed after evictions and live tasks during the celebrity version of the show in January and it was warmly received by fans and viewers.
Dowling thinks this could work again and added:
Dowling also teased some details on this year’s batch of housemates. He revealed that while last year’s wannabes were barely out of their teens, there will be some more mature hopefuls featured this summer.
“There is going to be a difference in ages as well, whereas last year they were all very young.
“I am also hearing a rumour of a couple or couples going in.”
However, don’t get your hopes up peeps. The camp presenter insisted that there will be no live sex taking place on the show and revealed that he won’t ‘allow’ anything too raunchy to kick off.
“I will not allow that to happen on my watch…I don’t want sex, no.”
“It was bad enough [last year] with Jay [McKray] shaving his a*****le…Everyone could see that.
“No it’s too much!”.
Meanwhile, the official Big brother Twitter account has been teasing what sort of housemates we can expect to see tonight and described one as:
“A very confident ladies man who doesn’t like big people. He wants 4 kids in the next 5 years.”
Another will be a “budding DJ and self-confessed cougar who is currently single. Could her five dogs be scaring guys away?”
Big Brother launches tonight, 9pm on Channel 5….will you be tuning in?
