Big Brother 2012: Caroline Wharram officially warned about bullying, but what about Becky?!
As we saw in last night’s Big Brother highlights show on Channel 5, housemate Caroline Wharram was given an official warning by the show’s producers for “bullying” some of her fellow housemates.
She seemed genuinely quite shocked about being told she was being manipulative and overbearing, and later, she returned to the Diary Room in floods of tears, expressing how sorry she was/is for her behaviour.
However, most of what she said was at a pitch that only dogs could hear, which I suspect was quite deliberate actually, because it was quite funny.
But, although Caroline clearly deserved the warning – which fans of the show have been calling for for weeks – I think Becky Hannon should also have been given a similar dressing down…
Again, as we saw in last night’s highlights show, she domineering, overbearing, rude and just plain vile…
As Deana attempted to add up the shopping list – which Becky appointed herself in charge of, primarily so she could order junk food it seems – Becky constantly berated her, calling on other housemates to take over because “Deana can’t add up” and “she’s too slow.”
Also, we heard her persisting with her name for Lauren, “spoon”, which is one of the things that BB had brought to Caroline’s attention in the Diary Room, so why aren’t they doing the same with Becky?
I personally think she’s every bit as unpleasant as Caroline, and every bit as much of a bully.
She slipped very easily into the Heathers when Conor befriended her after he was saved from eviction last week, and now that she feels part of the ‘in’ crowd, her true colours are showing, and it’s far from pretty.
To be honest, although I am of course aware of some of the awful things Conor’s said in the house, I think Becky and Caroline are the true villains in there. There are few things more intimidating than girls when they “gang up” against a person, and that’s precisely what Becky and Caroline are doing.
In fact, I’d go as far as to say that Becky’s worse than Caroline, because Caroline’s behaved badly from the get go, so in a manner of speaking, it’s at least a form of honesty – albeit an unpalatable one – but Becky went into that house under false pretences by acting the part of a lovable, cuddly Northerner…
When in fact, she’s an intimidatingly large viper.
Who do you think is worse; Caroline or Becky? And do you think Becky’s behaviour should be punished as Caroline’s was?

Big brothers punishments are poor . The only thing they do is turn the hot water off . Put them all up for eviction stop pussy footing around get a grip

They’re both as bad as eachother.Becky started to get really nasty after shivonne was evicted.She lies and has manipulated nominations by mentioning Lauren all last week and Caroline with Adam. This is just not acceptable but for some strange reason has been tolerated by the BB show. Many times PPl has mentioned to BB that they should have public noms as they clearly need it to get rid of the nasties that don’t deserve to be in there and yet BB are avoiding this. Viewers have been betting the good guys but don’t stand a chance of winning whilst these nasties are going round in code letting the other nasties know who they’re going to vote out next. Conor is a bully and should have been evicted for his threatening behaviour.Shame on you BB
put them all up for eviction next week and have a double eviction that should scare the insiders they will be bitching among each other to stay in the house would be brilliant to watch there antics go on big brother have the b=lls do it please
Becky is a nasty 2 faced bully. Caroline is sly and manipulative but at least feels some remorse now. I think she will be nicer from now, but Becky will carry on. She needs a big bro warning.
This week please put them all up and let us vote to evict not to save.
so far they dont see what the public wants because we only have a choice between whoever the bullies have picked on for that week

Just ridiculous , Caroline has clearly been shown showing Conor her cards at the nominations and BB has just ignored it. All bb fans have been complaining on fb , everywhere but BB is not ready to take any actions. I wonder why they say ” Who goes you decide ” and here we all are getting ignored !!
i give up!!! i cannot possibly watch it any more, as i cannot look at becky caroline or the slug conner any more, the 3 of them are 2 faced manipulative bullies, i thought bb did not allow this any more, well they have lost 11 of us from our family group now. if one of those 3 wins then it was all a fix from the start. i am discusted with bb, and the aftershow bit on the side, as emma always seems to condone what is going on and laugh about it. s, dawson
BB is a joke – Connor’s disgusting attitude to Deana is offensive to the viewers – he is either a mysogonist, racist to Asian woman or he fancies her! His blatant pig ignorant behaviour towards her should not be allowed. Connor, Caroline and Becky and truly vile people but the way the system works now is that we never get a chance to vote the pigs off because they are skilfully manipulating the game. Deana, Adam or Luke A to win !
Another warning for Caroline? How many does she get before something is done? Conor and Becky are just as bad but still nothing is done to them. What message does this give to young people watching the show? That its ok to single out and bully someone? I have gotten angry in the past for people using the “Bullying” card to describe harmless bitching in previous series’s. But this year it is blatant bullying (The worst i’ve seen so far) and the producers have continued to turn a blind eye. Even on BBBOS Emma Willis and co just seem to brush it all under the carpet and talk about farting or something.
Caroline the typical school bully! Not nice to watch so I will be changing channels from.now on!
Bullying from Caroline and Becky towards other members of the “Outsider Group”
My view is that this may be to little to late. Caroline’s parents were right to stop her from auditioning on other occasions for reality shows. I would be extremely embarrassed if my child was as spoiled and as ignorant as her, she’s now had two warnings, she should have been removed from the house with immediate affect after the second warning, her behavior honestly cannot be allowed to continue. The house this year environment is extremely unhealthy Big Brother is allowing the bullying atmosphere to grow and spread like wild fire and Caroline is relishing in it, as it is not being stopped by any members of the Big Brother house, but that being said I have noticed a somewhat hostility in the voices of Big Brother to the “Insider” group, where as those on the “Outsider” group seem to have a much more cheerful tone.
As for Becky, I’m ashamed I share the same name as her thankfully were not alike at all. Her behavior at the start is completely different to how it is now, when she arrived all bubbly and happy, and she even became “close” to Deana for her task, and I now see why Deana was upset she did use her she’s not her friend her behavior is so disgusting I am surprised she has not been reprimanded along with Caroline.
As for the Lauren situation. If this had been reversed and it was say the “Outsiders” bullying Caroline and Becky I think they would be pulling out all the bullying stories they had as a children and it would of been stopped by the other members of the group.I think it’s utterly disgraceful that they are being allowed to torment this poor girl and have the audacity to claim her behavior is the one at fault when clearly she is putting up a front against the “Insiders” I was so happy when Lauren won the screaming challenge the look on Caroline and Becky’s face. Priceless.
This week’s nominations are the first one’s that I think my not affect the house but it will definitely split viewers opinions. And I really hope that who ever is left be it Lauren/Luke A are not put up again. Big Brother please consider putting up Caroline and Becky it’s the least they deserve for their horrible behavior.
As for Caroline’s ‘episode’ I honestly don’t think she means a single word, her only concern is , she’s exactly how Benedict said she was sneaky, sly, immature and with each passing week a new flaw in her personality is being shown, like peeling back layers of a rotten Garlic. Ugh these girls need to leave soon otherwise I do feel that the boo’s for them will become even more great, hopefully they will wake up and smell the “hummus” don’t believe a single word of what she says guys it’s all lies she’s nothing but a spoiled child worried about her future in the house.
Caroline , Bucky and Conor need to be up for their bullying tactics, not Lauren and Adam. Big bro needs to come off air if they allow such bitchy, bully behaviour
