The attempt to gain support seemed to backfire on Chris yesterday, as his popularity within the house plummetted and his fans on the outside seemed to diminish. Wild card Becky already blasted that she hates his guts and Caroline told how she believes “he has the IQ of a palm tree.”

William Hill see the public edging the same way as his survival attempts have got more and more desperate as the week has gone on.

“Chris has only been in there a little over a week but he seems to have annoyed some of his fellow housemates and the public already. Arron has stayed under the radar this week where has Chris’ try hard tactics seem to be about to back fire on him,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.
