Big Brother 2012: Conor McIntrye says Luke S ‘was a fool not to press the button’
The former Big brother housemate left the show last Friday night during the final part of the White Room task, when both he and Luke were offered the chance to grab £50,000.
They were told that one would get a pass to the finale, while the other would get half the prize the series prize money and while Luke debated about his decision, Conor pushed the big red button and scooped the cash.
His decision meant Conor was automatically evicted and reunited with his girlfriend and family, while Luke was left sobbing in the house and devastated that he has missed out on such a large sum of money.
McIntyre has no regrets and would do the same again and told The Daily Star:
“The winner gets £50,000 and now so have I.”
He insists it was a win win situation for both him and his fans, adding:
“So all those who voted for me, they got me money.
“In the eyes of people in Derry I’m a winner and that’s all that really matters to me. I’m happy with how it turned out.”
Conor was less than complimentary about Luke and his long winded deliberation, saying that he has no sympathy for the hunk. The Derry man continued:
“He was a fool not to press the button before I did.
“He was just being greedy and waiting for it to go higher and higher.”
To make matters worse, Conor doesn’t think Luke has a hope of winning the series on Monday and is sure that he won’t be claiming the other half of the prize money.
Conor added: “He won’t win – he’s got no chance.
“There are much bigger characters in there than him.”
We would have to agree with Conor and if we had to call it now, we would predict that either Luke A, Sara or Adam will be celebrating victory on Monday. We can’t even see Luke S in the final three.
Do you agree with Conor? Is Luke a fool and do you think he stands a chance of winning? Leave your comments below…
