Big Brother 2012: Fall out over Luke A’s BMI comment about hypocrite Becky continues!
As Big Brother fans will know, yesterday, the housemates’ friends and family did their nominating for them, and the aftermath of one revelation in particular has prompted a tidal wave of unpleasantness to once again strike the house…
That incident was when Becky’s sister nominated Luke A – and Deana – and as to why she was nominating Luke A, she explained that it’s because she’d seen on Channel 5’s BB highlights show a conversation between Luke A and Adam in which Luke said, “She says she respects me, but she respects me about as much as she respects her BMI.”
Luke A immediately apologised for the remark, but after telling him he was “disgusting”, Becky then refused to speak another word to him.
Then in the bathroom while speaking to Scott, she added, “I think it’s flat out disgusting.”
Now, the fact of the matter is, Becky has often – and loudly – claimed that she’s proud of her ‘big’ frame, and often added that she has no desire to diet or change her physical appearance, going the route of Big Is Beautiful…
During the Selfless Deeds task, Becky asked her fellow housemates to bring her food while she cycled on an exercise bike – and as a side note, she didn’t go and tell BB he was “disgusting” for evidently hinting she needed to exercise – because she feared she may lose some of her bulk through exercising.
She also recently confessed to having a stash of food under her bed while the rest of the housemates are hungry and living on basic rations.
Whenever Deana mentions dieting, she leaps down her throat and goes on and on about how she’ll never diet, blah blah blah.
All of which is tickety boo and I have no issue with Becky being happy with her size, but why then take offence when someone makes a remark about it?
It’s perhaps analogous to someone who constantly remarks that their big nose gives their face character and they’d never have a nose job, then being upset when someone points out that they have a big nose.
Clearly and evidently, Becky DOESN’T have any respect for her BMI, so what Luke A said was in actuality a mere fact…
So to Becky I would say this – stop being so self-congratulatory over being ‘big’ if in fact you’re not proud of it. If you are proud of it, don’t have a go at someone else who points out the blatantly obvious about your size.

Becky has said far worse about Luke A. It was said privately and not meant to be shared and it was taken out of context with the rest of the conversation. Why doesn’t BB broadcast all the things that All of the housemates have said behind others backs. This little statement of fact would be shown to be trifling in comparison.Another point I would like to add is that being a chef Luke knows about nutrition and bmi so using that term in conversation with a friend seems ok to me. I wouls also like to say that I’m about the same size as Becky but thank God I’m nothing like the horrible 2 faced madam.
I’m totally digusted at the way the BMI remark Luke A made has been blown out of proportion he’s a very very decent young man and doens’t deserve the fall out – Becky is a very very greedy young ladyand is certainky playing on the incedent just to get votes – Connor’s remark was so out of order but Deana didn’t go mad she took it like a lady – BB should let the housemates know about the food under her bed – Good luck Luke A I’ll be voting to keep you in you so deserve it
Couldn’t agree more, Luke’s BMI comment was stating a fact and Becky should not take offense, it is her choice to not respect her body. The amount of crap she eats, what does she expect?
I also thought it unfair that family nominations seemed to include reasons for nomination (and therefore resentments) for SOME people, but not others.
Becky has said some pretty horrible things about Luke A, which he is yet to hear and find out about when he finally leaves the house.
So get real woman, you ‘are’ overweight, and you keep banging on about being happy with your large proportions. Luke was just being honest, although sometimes best to keep some thoughts to yourself.
I agree. Becky has no respect for her BMI. She is overweight, and proud to be so. As she isn’t sensitive about it I really don’t see the problem. I wonder how she would have reacted if Conner had said it? Who wants to bet it would have “just been a laugh.” Becky has been vile towards the other contestants. By no means should this comment vindicate her of her previous actions. There is a list as long as my arm of the hideous things she has said, but personally I think the comment about “pissing all over” Luke A and Adam is disgusting. That comment should be broadcast, after all, she was discussing nominations!
how dare becky get this angry about it. she has previously said that she want’s to get a penis just so she can piss all over luke A. yeah thats nice to say becky! she has slated and said comments about him numerous times, and now she is going to milk this for all she can get!
I’m with Luke A on his comments regarding becky and her ever increasing bmi. Her parents must be hoping she stays in. I bet their food bill must be half it used to be when the greedy girl was at home. I hope Luke gets to the final. He deserves his place there. I agree with the last couple of post regarding urinating on housemates. That really is disgusting and big bro should broad cast it .
I don’t think what Luke A said was harmful at all, Becky calls everyone dicks, and she is morbidly obese and she still eats and make jokes about her own body, she knows she’s fat and she doesn’t want to change, Luke A’s comment was absolute truth and there’s no need for an apology, she’s making a big scene out of it when she’s really not even upset at all, she just wants attention and sympathy she needs a good slap with a broccoli >:(
I don’t see what the problem is with luke’s comment, he was stating a fact!! Clearly becki doesn’t respect her BMI or she wouldn’t eat the way she does! She bleats on about how proud she is of her size and knows its because of her eating habits, now ll
Luke has made the coment she claims it’s disgusting!!! Like I said he was only stating fact! If she did respect her BMI she would eat the way she does!!!!!!

Oh my God, the comment was said in the heat of the moment. Becky has said some nasty things so it is hypocritical for her to take the high hand….. but she is loving the opportunity to play the victim. She is a nasty piece of work who smiles whilst digging the knife in. Anyway the real problem is that whatLuke A said is true, she should have more respect for her BMI as medically it is proven that being overweight is bad for your health and she is overweight. Being proud of being so fat is disgusting!
Becky, Ashleigh, Luke S and Connor have said much worse things about the other housemates. And besides, Becky DOESN’T care about her BMI…she is being such an actress and blowing things way out of proportion.

Compare and contrast this to Luke’s comment about her BMI ….. Hmmm which one is worse ?
Big Brother picks and chooses what they put on screen. And it DISGUSTS me that Ashleigh STILL thinks that her little group of sh*thead bullies are popular with the public just because a couple of knobs from each family choose to broadcast what other housemates have said?
Everyone needs to vote to save Luke A and Deana. Get Ashleigh and Becky out. They need to get a reality check.
