Deana Uppal didn’t win Big Brother this evening but it doesn’t sound like she’s too worried about her loss.

The former Miss India UK finished the 2012 series in third place, behind her soldiers Adam and Luke S and in her exit interview with Brian Dowling afterwards she gushed:

‘I never thought I’d get this far and whoever wins I am completely happy with it. The £50,000 would be lovely but oh well.’

Deana has been the most nominated housemate of the whole series but this fact only drives her on and adds to her pride and she added:

‘I’m quite proud that I’ve survived to the final with all those nominations.’

Uppal had a tumultuous time in the BB house and made plenty of enemies. Luke S, Ashleigh and Conor seemed particularly spiteful and on why they took such an instant dislike to her, the brunette beauty mused:

‘I think they didn’t like me from the beginning anyway.

I don’t think I would have had any friends except for Sara and a few that left at the beginning….. Sometimes I would walk up to a sofa and everyone else would walk away.’

Conor McIntyre had the biggest problem with Deana and was even given an official warning about his aggressive behaviour towards her. However, Deana has no clue why he hated her so strongly and continued:

‘He never told me why he has a problem with me, so I still don’t know. From the first time he saw me, he had something against me.

He was a strong and powerful character in the house so to have him against me wasn’t nice.’
