It was fairly inevitable that the housemates were going to fail this week’s shopping task, Rules Are For Fools, because with about a million rules and only three Wardens to oversee trespass of said rules, they didn’t have a snowball in hell’s chance.

And sure enough, last night, Big Brother announced that they had failed, quite miserably, and would therefore have a basic shopping budget this week.

However, Luke S won the task within a task yesterday for being the Warden who notches up the most tickets issued, and therefore had £30 to spend on anything he wanted from this week’s shopping list additions.

Here’s a look at what he had to choose from…

Protein Powder x1 – £30
Coffee pot and posh coffee – £15
Fancy iced donuts – £10
Portuguese chicken – £15
Sushi platter for one – £15
Grapefruit soda – £5
Massage oil set – £15
One hour with weights – £30
Pamper hamper for Ashleigh – £30

And despite the fact that he’s gagging for protein shakes, and of course loves a good workout, instead, he chose the pamper pack for Ashleigh…

Now that’s either an awww worthy action or a cringe-making play for votes and air time. You decide.

However, getting back to the task failure, when BB gathered the housemates on the sofas to reveal the task outcome, there was rapturous cheering when he announced that the Wardens had incurred just three overall fails…

But then came the bad news, because when the envelope containing the number of fails was opened, it revealed that no fails were permitted whatsoever. So… fail.
