Big Brother 2012: Luke A scores a win by failing on his date with Sara in Speed Hating task! (VIDEO)
Yesterday, Day 44, was a pretty uneventful one in the Big Brother house, however, by the time evening rolled around, the big guy injected some excitement with one of the now familiar double bluff tasks…
Initially, Sara was called to the Diary Room and told that she was to take part in a Speed Dating task, for which she would be dated by all the male members of the house.
She was also told that whoever lasted the longest on their date – before Sara buzzed them off when she got bored of them – would win a special prize.
Meanwhile, the other housemates were told that the real point of the task – dubbed Speed Hating – was to compete for the shortest date with Sara. So in a nutshell, whoever Sara buzzed off the date in the shortest time would win a prize…
So the garden was chosen as the venue for the speed dates while the male housemates all tried to think up ways to get buzzed off in the shortest time…
For Adam, that involved asking Sara if she’d “f**k” on a first date, and imploring her to look at his name badge, which was placed over his crotch.
Scott wasn’t too bad a date, and his only misdemeanour was to not pour Sara a drink as he glugged from his own bottle.
Conor – who turned up looking like the poster boy for the Just Knit 2012 campaign – simply sat down and began devouring all the snacks at the table, and hence was buzzed off in short order.
However, Luke A came up with a masterplan, which did in fact see him romp home to victory after Sara buzzed him out in around twenty seconds…
As he approached the table, he began saying “I’m really not up for this, I’m married,” as he pointed to a picture of his wife which he’s stuck to his shirt.
So, for being by far the worst date of the evening, Luke A won a lads’ night in, and he of course chose Adam to share it with him.
Here’s a clip of the task reveal and of Luke A and Adam enjoying their treat…
