Yesterday, Big Brother had a secret task lined up for the housemates, and it all revolved around Luke S, who was the only one who had no idea what was really going on.

In a nutshell, BB called Luke to the Diary Room and told him that there was a lot of interest in him on the outside, and that an agent wanted to meet with him to get the ball rolling on projects such as a workout DVD and a calendar.

Luke S fell for it hook line and egocentric sinker, while back in the main house, his fellow housemates rolled around laughing as Luke posed for test shots for his calendar.

However, the main part of the joke on Luke was yet to come, and for it, BB ended the feed into the main house and the agency rep got down to business…

He asked Luke about “the status” of his relationship with Ashleigh, and picking up on the fact that it could well inhibit the work he would be offered outside of the house, Luke prevaricated for a few moments before saying, “Well, ‘cos I came in here, and I was like ‘I’ll just get with a bird anyway…’”

Then, while still talking about Ashleigh, Luke added, “But there’s loads of stuff that irritates me, but if it like… it might not last on the outside world so…”

The faux rep then asked, “Are you coming out of here thinking, The Bachelor, Hollywood Nights, single life, or are you coming out thinking Katie and Peter, celebrity wedding?”

To which Luke replied, “Erm, I dunno…. I’d prefer The Bachelor life, it’s more fun.”

Back in the main house, Ashleigh was blissfully unaware of the fact that Luke S had admitted he came into the house intending to have a showmance with someone, and that he’d ditch her if the right TV work offer came along…

But for the rest of the day, once he realized it had all been a prank and his housemates and BB had had a good laugh at his expense, he began to panic that the footage of what he’d said about Ashleigh would be shown on TV, or worse yet, to her in the house.

I suspect this one is going to end in some big fat tears, because I can’t see BB missing the opportunity to somehow let Ashleigh see or hear what he said. It’d cause ructions, which is of course what they want.
