If there’s one thing that this year’s Big Brother housemates are noted for it’s their singular lack of selflessness, however, as Luke S discovered this morning, if they want to get letters from home, they’re going to have to do something selfless today…

So yeah, good luck with that Big Brother, given that these are people who hide booze, cigarettes and food from each other and who bitch 24/7. I’m not sure they’re capable of being selfless!

Anyway, the news of a new task arrived this morning when a ‘ding dong’ alerted Luke S to the fact that the Big Brother postie had been, bearing news that’s excited the housemates.

He ripped opened the envelope and read that housemates would get to receive letters from home today, and win a prize, on the proviso that they must act selflessly to a series of dilemmas set by Big Brother…

What those selfless acts will be hasn’t yet been revealed, but speculation about what the special prize could be is rife. Luke A reckons it could be immunity from this week’s nominations, while Luke S thinks he may be offered the chance to use a gym.

For me, that’d be a punishment, not a prize.

However, Caroline, whose parents didn’t want her to go on the show, is worried about what the letter from home might reveal.

She said, “Oh god, what will they say?”

Becky on the other hand has no such concerns, and excitedly yelled, “I literally feel like I’m going to pass out.”

I am like, literally so sick of hearing her say ‘literally’ literally every two minutes. Like. Literally.
