Big Brother 2012: Luke S was furious that Conor walked away with £50k! Sour grapes much?!
Last night’s live edition of Big Brother was one of the best, most nail biting editions I’ve seen for a good long while, and yet again, it was further proof that the show is very much back on the TV map.
In short, though this series is nearing its end, Big Brother is most assuredly back, in every sense of the word!
I was literally on the edge of my seat when Conor and Luke S had just one minute to decide if they were willing to give up their place in the house in return for £50,000…
And evidently, both were, but as Conor buzzed a nanosecond before Luke S, he of course won the money.

Now it was evident from the second he realised that Conor beat him to the buzzer that Luke S was not a happy camper. He also rapidly stated that if he’d won the money, he would have split it 50/50, telling Conor, “If that was me, we’d have £25k each, you know that don’t you?”
Frankly, I just plain don’t believe it for a minute, however, Conor made no such promise and – given there really wasn’t much he could say – just repeated, “Don’t you worry about it, you’ll be fine.”
And later, during his eviction interview with Brian Dowling, Conor explained that Luke S already has a house and so on, whereas he rather touchingly remarked, “I’ve got nothing.”
Meanwhile, back in the house, when Luke S rejoined the main housemates, his anger hadn’t abated, and the first words out of his mouth were to Adam, at whom he ranted, “What the f*** are you laughing at?” evidently implying that Adam found the fact he lost out on £50k amusing.
But just to back track a tad, I thought it was rather a nice gesture that Conor hugged Deana before he left, and likewise, she wished him luck, however, in the garden later with Luke A and Adam, Deana turned into Miss Annoying 2012.

So what’s your verdict? Are you happy for Conor that he walked away with that life changing money? And do you reckon Luke S was totally ungracious or justifiably angry?

CONNER WAS THE LAST PERSON ANYONE, APART FOR HIS MOTHER, WOULD WANT TO WALK AWAY WITH 50K……HE IS A VILE, LOUD MOUTHED IGNORANT IDIOT, IN ANY POLL HE WOULD BE BOTTOM OF THE LIST, IF ON THE LIST AT ALL. BB MADE A BIG MISTAKE GIVING THIS FOUL MOUTHED SWAGGERING SLOB THE CHANCE TO WIN THIS MONEY, ILL NEVER WATCH BB AGAIN!!!!!

Absolutely disgusted with BB and its bad handling of the appalling behaviour that has gone on in that house during the current series. Yet another complaint on its way to Ofcom and Channel 5 – it was a total disgrace rewarding bad behaviour in such a public fashion – yes Channel 5 you have given all the youngsters that watch this show licence to behave atrociously in any way manner or form they wish in order to succeed in life! Everyone should save their hard earned pennies and refuse to vote any further…..
Everyone has been predicting this online, saying that Connor WOULD end up in the white room, that he WOULD get money, though at first the amount was half at £25,000. IF this wasn’t a fix, then C5 BB would at the very least have known that this was a commonly held belief so it seems inexplicable that this came to pass. C5 had the power to control whether or not he went in and as the prior criteria had been to have had the least votes in the whole series there was no reason to change this, especially as they WOULD have been aware everyone would notice this alteration on Connors behalf. They enabled him to be in the room for no good reason, they used a very dominant bullying style of trial, whereby the people in there have to decide in one minute who will leave… Obviously Connor has the personality to fight to stay over others who might consider others feelings and therefore perform weakly in such a task. This is undeniably a fix, the whole premise of the white room serves nobody but the over confident and competative types… or in other words the people who the public would never have wanted to win.
I was furious when they decided the people with the fewest votes would be the only ones who could go into the white room. If they’d allowed all those NOT nominated it would have been a much more interesting and much fairer playing field. I do feel a bit that they set it up for Connor, or even Luke S. However, I realize it’s a gameshow, and thus far have been wise enough NOT to waste my money voting on it. I would love to have seen Connor in that room with either Adam or Luke A. As is, they made an already tedious task ..utterly boring and ridiculous. Well done Connor for taking his 50k, but it seems he would have gotten it one way or the other.
Connor is made of much harder material than Luke S, he, as, he said is too nice a person. I would have taken the money as well!!!!, does not make me a bad person, just being real in hard times in the UK!!!.
This article is clearly one persons opinion, the world and his dog despise Conor, it was good that Deana was civil to him, but she has every right not to like him!
