The No Laughing task is proving a tough one, given that not only has Big Brother been sending in purveyors of comedy to tickle the housemates’ funny bones, but some of them are amusing each other as well…

However, they are trying out various tactics to prevent laughing, such as pulling out their tongues or squeezing their eyes shut and sucking in their cheeks. And as you can see from the above picture of Conor, these are not good looks…

In fact, I may put that pic of Conor on the mantelpiece to keep the kids away from the fire.

But there have been numerous fails already, however, we don’t know how many fails they’re allowed, and we won’t know until BB reveals the number that’s inside the envelope which is around the creepy sailor’s neck.

It’s not all been fun and games though, and yesterday, house tension rose a good few notches as Arron had a go at Deana for drinking alcohol, telling her that she always giggles uncontrollably when she’s had a few and could therefore fail the task for them…

She took exception to that, but as ever, there was Mrs Johnny on the Spot Shievonne to proffer words of comfort and advice.

Also brewing is the tension between Chris and Becky, with the former telling Conor – while eating a bowl of something himself – that Becky is “always eating.”

He added, “She’s eating everything man. The rice before – she couldn’t wait, she had hers first.”

And as I mentioned, totally oblivious to the irony, he said it while shoveling something out of a bowl into his face. Click here to see a clip of that convo.

Meanwhile, Ashleigh – who is so clearly in love with Luke S – has asked Shievonne (seriously, always there in a drama, always!) and Deana how her relationship with Luke S might be perceived by the public, and worse, by Lauren, who Ashleigh is convinced fancies Luke S.

However, what she doesn’t know is that Lauren nominated Luke S, so I would assume then that’s she not exactly smitten.
