Big Brother 2012: Nominations immunity decider begins with Spaghetti Western!

UPDATE! The Good team won the Spaghetti Western task! So Scott, Sara and Luke S get an extra 30 seconds to pan for gold later today!

Big Brother’s website has just revealed that one of today’s Gold Rush task challenges is about to begin, and it’s a very important one!

Entitled, Spaghetti Western, the task will see members from each team tackling a giant plate of Spaghetti Bolognese.

In a tag relay, each team will alternate with its members until the huge plate of food is eaten. Eating can only be with knives and forks – no hands – and any food dropped on the floor or table must be taken into account when Sheriff Conor and Deputy Caroline ultimately judge who’s eaten the most.

Whichever team is deemed to have eaten the most will win the task, but more importantly, they’ll secure an extra 30 seconds of time in this afternoon’s panning for gold challenge…

It isn’t clear as yet whether the housemates realize that the panning for gold challenge is going to lead to immunity from nominations for the winners, but no doubt, if they don’t already know, they’ll find out soon.

But of course, if Sheriff Conor and Deputy Caroline are aware of the noms twist, they could very easily skew the results to ensure immunity for whichever team – or rather, whichever team members – they like the most.

Every task that Conor and Caroline have had to judge so far has been opinion based, as with the Hoe Down task yesterday when Caroline had to judge which team danced the best.

So it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens this afternoon! We will of course keep you posted.
