Big Brother 2012: OFCOM launch investigation into Deana Uppal and Conor McIntyre row and Caroline’s racist comments to Adam Kelly

OFCOM have reportedly received more than 1,000 complaints from concerned viewers, over a recent row aired on Big Brother.

On the channel 5 show last month, Northern Irish man Conor McIntyre was seen screaming at Indian beauty queen Deana Uppal and was later warned for the aggression he displayed when addressing his fellow housemate.

On June 25th the personal trainer shouted at the weeping female brandishing her epilator and yelling:

‘Get your epilator and stick it up your arse. We don’t give a f**k! Stick it up her f**king m**ge, stupid b**tard.

After his outburst many women’s charities called for his removal from the house, saying that Deana should not have to live with such an intimidating presence

Hundreds of viewers took to Twitter to blast Conor’s so called bullying and more than one thousand complained to the TV regulator, prompting them to launch an investigation into whether the airing of the arguments may have breached the broadcasting code.

They will also be looking into comments made by posh girl Caroline Wharram, when she described black former LA gang member Adam Kelly, as a ‘ridiculous gorilla’ with ‘no sanitation’.

114 people complained about the statements which they believed was racially motivated.
