It’s been reported this morning by BBSpy that Big Brother is planning to copy a “twist” task that was first carried out in Big Brother Australia 2007.

Entitled, The White Room, we’re apparently set to see special and extended editions of Big Brother on Channel 5 on Wednesday, August 1, which will include a one-off ninety minute episode ‘Big Brother: The White Room’ at 9pm, and a special version of Bit On The Side which is entitled, ‘Bit On The Side: White Room live’ at 10:30pm.

If it follows the same pattern that the task in BB Australia did, housemates will be required to wear only white clothes and eat only white food.

The only object in the special room that wasn’t white was a big red buzzer, which housemates had to hit when they wanted out…

The last man – or woman – standing won a special prize.

However, there might be another twist in that the housemates in Aussie White Room were late entrants to the show, so perhaps the same will apply and we’ll get a new crop of housemates via the task. But having said that, as the task is scheduled for August, it would most likely be too late to introduce any newbies.
