Big Brother 2012: Winner Luke Anderson will spend his £50k on phalloplasty (new willy) surgery!

This year’s ‘civilian’ edition of Big Brother was of course won by Luke Anderson, who as fans will know was born female – and named Laura – before undertaking gender reassignment treatment in his late twenties.

And according to the Daily Star today, Luke intends to spend his £50,000 on phalloplasty, which is a process to construct a penis.

Chef Luke told the paper, “Obviously you have the NHS if you can’t afford it, but this money will definitely help me achieve a decent cosmetic look that I really want.

“It’s perfect.”

He added that he may also use a portion of the money to “tidy up” his chest where he currently has large scars from his mastectomy…

He said, “I want to have a chest revision. The scars after my last surgery are pretty big so the revision will make them look like a fine line.

“The money will really help me get the look I want.”

The paper adds, “Many of Luke’s friends did not know he was born a woman until he told his housemates.”

And during his time on the show, Luke also revealed that his wife Becki’s family had no idea he had been born female when they first wed.

Of that, and how his friends have taken the news that he’s transgendered, Luke said, “I have been really shocked everyone took it in their stride and didn’t seem to care.

“Maybe it was my own insecurities but I thought people might react badly.

“All I’ve ever wanted is to be accepted and after winning the show I am.

“I was ashamed of myself but now I know that I can be proud of who I am.”

Indeed he can, however, I can’t say I envy him the processes necessary for the phalloplasty…

O lordy…

Very best of luck Luke!
