Yesterday, this week’s shopping task was set in which the house was turned into a working bee hive. Gina Rio was appointed as Queen Bee and Charlie Travers was appointed as her guard.
The worker bees had to fill as many jars with honey as possible for the first part of the task yesterday, in which one worker bee had to turn a bar which would then produce honey and send glass jars across the conveyor belt.
Day One (RESOLVE)
Just as we imaged, Gina and Charlie picked the higher number of jars to complete. The housemates managed to fill 250 jars during the first hit, in which the Queen Bee and her guard earned a special dinner cooked by the other worker bees.
For the next order, the worker bees were ordered to fill 400 jars, which they successfully did and Gina was rewarded with a phone call from her boyfriend.
Today sees the second day of the task and the worker bees have been told that they must become busy bees. They have each been supplied with a pedometers which are attached to elbow pads and headbands. All housemates must ‘buzz around’ as much as possible.
If Big Brother is satisfied with their combined score, more money will be added to the shopping budget.
But, it isn’t all a life of luxury for the Queen Bee and her guard, they must also put some work in. After a busy day of buzzing around the worker bees will need to rest.
Gina and Charlie will have to take part in a sticky assault course. Whilst sat on a spinning round-a-bout, the pair will be given clues about each housemate.
When they think they have the answer, they must jump off the roundabout into the sticky hive. At the end of the hive, the right answer must be shouted out. If they are correct, money will be added to the budget. However, if they are wrong money will be deducted.
You can see the first day of the shopping task on tonight’s show at 10PM on Channel 5. The second day will feature on tomorrow night’s show at 9pm.
