Big Brother: Dawn Blake Loses ‘Stinky Dawn’ Case
Some of you may remember Dawn Blake from Big Brother 7. Dawn was kicked out of the house just six days after her arrival, after she was accused of communicating with the ouside world via secret, coded messages.
Dawn later filed a complaint against Channel 4 claiming that footage about her body odour had been unfairly edited “so as to humiliate and misrepresent” her. However OFCOM have now rejected her claim.
The Ofcom report said Ms Blake had complained “it was suggested that she was not washing or taking a shower, despite the fact that she took a shower and washed every day”.
She also complained that references to her on Little Brother and Big Mouth, on which she was referred to as “stinky Dawn”, had been unfair.
But the OFCOM report said: “As regards Big Brother’s Big Mouth and Big Brother’s Little Brother, Ofcom found that references to the body odour issue and to Ms Blake’s departure reflected events in the house.”
They were “in the context of a light-hearted discussion in which positive as well as negative comments were included”.

I think it is right that she loss the case as Phil Edgar Jones is a wonderful man and he is not possibly of any wrong doing. For God sake he is a rich producer
You just have to look at Dawn to see she is sneaky and has no redeeming qualities. This woman only is jealous of the producers as they have worked hard for their status while she lives of the land.
She is indeed the biggest stinker in the land I hope she is thoroughly miserably upsetting all the other housemates who were impeccably behaved.

I also cannot believe someone who looks and speaks like such a basic person is a scientist.
I dont believe her credentials are even genuine. scientists dont need to go on Big Brother anyhow.

My actual complaint: I am suferer of urticaria, skin allergies, eczema and photosensitive skin. As well as Hayfever and Asthma (Hayfever does make my medical conditions rather trivial, dont you think).
However on the programme in the prescence of the producers, I was miraculously cured of all medical conditions. They have sadly come back probably because I am a big pile of effluence.
Even though medical conditions were documented in BB forms. Big Brother producers who are well educated and so rightly highly paid were right to conclude. “Having NO clothes or toiletries would NOT negatively affect these pitiful conditions.
The other beautiful lovelies in the show could share their spoils with each other. I am glad they didnt share with me as I couldnt use them anyhoo.
Yes, while some of us were treated in a similar way, we were not physically the same. However I can understand that the others were used to better treatment than I could have ever deserved.
It is good that people who are far superior to me are enlightening me on my transgressions whether they be fabricated or real.
An Asian woman and a black man have won in the interim of the complaint. This mitigates any prejudice by producers. As anyone who was prejudiced would not allow and Asian and Black person to win a competition, simply to create an illusion they were a lover of the multi-cultural folk.
PEJ was right to tell everyone he had ejected me because I was speaking in tongues and codes. I have the total inability to identify when people hate me as I live in a fantastical world and have NO “THEORY OF MIND AT ALL”.
I am abnormal and need others to tell me if people hate me as I cannot deduce this from conversation, body language or eye contact.
I was completely oblivious to other people’s reactions in the show. That is why I needed THE outside intervention, to tell me this. As I was simply going to sit in the show and not leave at all, ignorantly making the assumption other people liked me.
I am glad OFCOM has written a rambling strawman’s argument, which channel four has swiftly answered, two years later. Coinciding with this years great offering.
I am glad I have given the public so much amusement, NOT SINCE ERNEST HOGAN’s ditty has a member of my hue, made others feel so great about being themselves.
PS For all those who sent me hate mail and this includes the press. I love you all very much and hope you and your family live long and prosperous lives.
I do not hate you, but please let me return the favour one day I insist.
I cannot say anymore as this will lead to negative press and I truly wanted to preserve my career as
“A Cleaner” which I was before I went into Big Brother.
The Masters Degree was however genuine, but we all cannot have the luxury of being PHIL EDGAR JONES or CAN WE?

OFCOM should also “get a life” and some MORE EFFICIENT staff. JESUS, I’m the one that could only get a job as a cleaner and a massive organisation takes two years to enable Phil Edgar Jones and corporate Channel four to write a few answers on the back of a Fag Packet.
TWO YEARS, TWO YEARS I would have got less time for downloading underage porn.
I apologise to everyone for my sarcasm and also apologise to everyone for being me. I can only hope the next forty years of my life, can be used for the good of others, not the selfishness of the life I lead before the programme.
I cannot believe how wicked and self- obessessed I was before the programme. The implacable hatred directed at me by the press, media and public were all justified.
I now lead a completely different life to how I lived before the programme. The irony is I deluded myself I was a good person, when in fact I was an undesirable, unmentionable and untouchable. Sometimes we need the wisdom of masses to shock us into reality.
I was shocked when I realised what a conceited, spiteful, vindicative and selfish person I had become .
over the forty years of my life.
My life is so much better for the intervention of my betters. I will never return to my old life and the intervention of other people’s analysis of me has been welcomed if a tad harsh.
I only wish they had Big Brother when I was twenty years old, as my life wouldnt have been wasted on such mindless frivolity.

The Hatemail and deaththreats were simply very scary and I probably over-reacted. However they were a wake up call. So what if I have loads of medical conditions?…. at least I am still alive. Thats all that counts.
I cannot be too hard on myself as GOD created me, but he created Harold Shipham, Gary Glitter, Jonathan King etc also. So yes I am aware he makes mistakes. One of these I admit might have been me.
OFCOM took TOO LONG with the complaint and generalised my complaint and so the essence was lost. It was a strawman’s argument and I was doomed to loose. I had no control of the time this has taken, OFCOM simply gave Phil Edgar Jones and his corporate channel four cronies a long time to answer. RAKING UP OLD GROUND and OPENING OLD issues TWO YEARS LATER.
However PEJ is a rich producer for a reason. Ironically if I had been a better organism, I would have seen his greatness and power. I would have seen my status in society and not tried to upset how the world works.
I only hope to serve the British people in a matter which they choose to be served if anyone will tolerate me.
As long as no-one threatens to burn my house down,glass me in the face or shoves dog faceces thru me letter box. I deserved nothing in my life and I have got nothing in my life. This is how it should be.
I do not resent the Big Brother staff, public or contestants.
However I do believe PEJ was too hard and manipulatory in his treatement, even though I needed to be put in my place.
The press/media are not elected by the public and therefore cannot speak on behalf of the public (THAT IS MEGLOMANIA and Narcissism). As they cannot be removed by the public as politicians can.
The Media write as “I” , but pretend they are writing on behlaf of “we” and “Us”. Anyone can do this it is not a skill merely a GCSE writing trick.
The access to computer software, your own website, radio station, newspaper or TV studio does not make you right or turn your opinions into facts, it makes you fortunate, aminly middle class and possibly rich.
The media and PEJ may be my superiors, but I dont believe they are superior as others on this planet are. Just fortunate to be in positions where they can voice opinions as facts with impunity.
While I admit to being human effluence and a wicked evil person, they admit to nothing. From what I have seen of some of the media in my forty years on this beautiful planet, they are only slightly better people than me. Which is pretty low on the ladder of humanity.

I have read what you have written and if you are this character, you do deserve to serve some pennance.
It is clear that you are probably in need of psychological help. You like most of these “Reality TV types” crave attention and have nil to zero talent.
You probably have never helped anyone in your life, but expect others to help you. I would do some charity work or voluntary work if I was in your shoes.
One cannot simply live by “popularity contests” alone.
Take your medicine, learn your lesson and never attempt to simply bypass hard work.
It is too easy for people Nowadays to do nothing and expect someone to make them a star. You probably thought going on TV would catapault you into some singing or acting career.
These reality eccentrics are at best most irritating and at the worst anti-social loonies.
I suggest you buckle down for the first time in your life and put something back into Britain.
No-one likes spongers and to put it bluntly that is what most of the reality generation are.
Only a few of the talentless ever make it ( FOR A WHILE), but they are normally too caught up in their own egos to see this.
You have indeed been a fool and a braggart. You have made your bed and for now you must lie in it.
Then look to helping others and giving back to the country that has supported your folly and dare I say “Big Head”.
Leave entertainment to those who have talent and simply work hard like the rest of us to earn your daily crust.

My dear lady if your only talent is that of a cleaner, that is what you should do.
It is a honest profession. It is not beneath you, accept the skills you have and your position in life.
Some people are lawyers, some chemists, some engineers.
I feel you seem to resent your level, but sadly you cannot do anything else. We all have to do
things in life we dont like.
Once you simply accept what you are, you can lead a fulfilling life.
There are people in this life that would jump at being a cleaner. Thank yourself lucky that you are living in such a wonderful country and have been given such a wonderful life.
I am no bigot and my friends come from all corners of the world, so I think you will find when you mull over my words. I am indeed right !

I think you have not read my rantings correctly.
I have accepted my life and my status. Which I didnt before I went into the show.
I am aware someone has to be at the bottom and the cards have been dealt that it is me.
I am only replying to this as someone posted this old story here.
I have long forgotten it and I believe it has only been posted to re-kindle past memories.
So before someone stated I was craving for attention, it was the media, OFCOM and channel four that have re stoked old fires.
I am genuinely sorry if my presence or photograph has offended people, but wont apologise to media, press or PEJ as they in my opinion are almost as scummy and vile as myself.
OFCOM chose to give Corporate Channel four two years for this complaint to be resolved. They are also in charge of the timing.
I am quite happy shining shoes or cleaning as long as people do not treat me too badly or try to destroy my life even futher.
I have little or no contact with people so they do not have to be around me.
Unreality TV posted this story not me. I have faded away as instructed by the press and media. I have spoken to anyone. I have allowed the people with talent to take their lime light and dissolved into the darkness.
I think it is unfair that I have been blamed for a complaint that I wrote on the 29th MAY 2006. I expected it to be resolved in two months, NOT TWO YEARS.
I am a lowly scum as you say, I have had not influence or input in this complaint over the last year. Its between OFCOM and Channel Four under the guidnace of PEJ.
I would hate to believe everytime my photograph was shown It gave all and sundry to blame me.

If I have personally offended you by my existence I apologise to you also. You seem educated and wise. I have taken on board all you have said. But this story was well and truly forgotten and I have NO control of the UK media and what they attribute to me.
I was in a programme for five days, I wasnt paid, I received no money afterwards.I was rightly told I was worth nothing and I am what you call a figure of hatred.
I fall into the same category unfortunately as paedophilles, serial killers and terrorists.
There are people that the press and public love and love to hate. But I am someone that only evokes hatred, scorn and ridicule.
I have no intention of courting the attention of the UK press with such a vile reputation. Like serial killers, rapists, paedophiles, terrorists people like me do not get paid for stories and are fame game because we have no reputation to destroy. Hence I went to OFCOM because I can use this facility.
Like Gary Glitter, Jonathan King etc I cannot sue anyone because I have no reputation to destroy. We can use the press complaints commission or OFCOM, but are poor reputations exempt us for civil courts.
So I am in a different category to your average reality TV person.I am simply hated.
It is highly unlikely that the UK will ever hear of me again, as I will never speak to a UK journalist again. SO I HOPE THEY BURY THIS STORY FOREVER and DONT KEEP RAKING SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TWO YEARS AGO back up. Simply to blame me cos I am a hated and easy target.

OH DEAR ME !
My local papers have foolishly printed my old address from TWO YEARS AGO.
I am not responsible what happens to the people who NOW live there. If they get dog faeces thru the letter box,hate mail or window smashed. SO BE IT !.
The media and the people who are incited by their emotive negative language are SOLELY responsible.
If some people believe they can play GOD for a living, USING incitory, emotive, emotional language and supress facts to create a devil and evoke hatred. That is their problem. GOOD FOR THEM!
They must live with those consequences of what they write.
Perhaps the current residents of the house can take a “LIGHT HEARTED VIEW” of the situation and see the funny side of DOG FAECAL MATTER, if the followers of media incitement take the BAIT.
Again I am not a paedophile, child molester, fraudster or murderer. I did not try to cheat anyone or the system. I JUST DIDNT LIKE IT AND WALKED AWAY.
I had a lowly job when I went on the programme. I HAD NO GREAT CAREER TO PROTECT. I worked as a cleaner,with mentally ill people, a few gyms and with inner city kids. I was a LOW LOW INCOME EARNER.
I put a complaint to OFCOM ( five days after Ileft the programme) and it took Channel FOUR’s legal department two years to answer it.
I have no asked for money from the press, they print what they like about me. I have no reputation like my other media demon friends.
I am easy prey for the press, they can and will make up any story about me that they please.
I have no rebuttal and no right of reply. OFCOM would not allow any third party evidence on my side. THEY THREW IT OUT !
SO I COULD NOT USE ANY WITNESS TESTIMONY , but COrporate channel four could bring in as many statements as possible.
I could not quote from the contract or any BB forms, my evidence was collated and the complaint was written by an OFCOM REP.
I could not change how they cited or wrote the complaint.
THEREFORE:
SCUM WOMAN Versus Corporate Channel FOUR and ENDEMOL. Channel four and Endemol won and that is it. YES The big guys beat me down to a pulp. YOU were all justified to hate me this makes it official.
I am scum and not fit to be looked at or spoken to. I understand this.
However, I do not see what the media actually get out of the negative potrayal of me and incitory hateful language.
It seems that they would like me to go to PRISON for the crime I believe they think I have committed or they want me to be beaten up by a mob as retribution.
OKAY someone stabs me to death or burns down my former house. What is it that the media is their wisdom and with all their power have acheived.
I cannot answer that question it is up to the people who spend thousands of pounds to incite and evoke the people to hate me.

If the press continue with these incitory and sensationalistic stories from the past to sell their papers. They only have themselves to blame if one of their readers acts on their words and highly emotional language.
They cant twist it and blame me for their behaviour, words or actions.
The press and media write stories so they are believed and they get paid for them.
They dont present stories as lies or fantasies. They present them as FACTS.
The article I am blogging on is presented as a fact, it is not presented as unreality TV’s opinion.
It is presented as the WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. There is no more for the public to know. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DISCUSSED and people can now be officially
DISGUSTED WITH me as I AM VILE.
ITS NOT IN MY POWER AND NOT MY BUSINESS to change this.
But my death, injury, maiming, ridicule or someone else’s is not going to improve the life of a journalist or anyone else.
It wont save your children from being kidnapped, or improve the economy. It wont stop you being mugged in the street or the bank repossessing your house. It wont stop anything as I have and never will had any influence on anyone else’s life.
The media and press on the other hand, have a great influence on other people and spend millions a year to ensure they do.

Black glitter if you really are Dawn then I recommend you read what I have to say. As I am a trainee psychologist I can see that you are lonely and someone who feels they have no justice and had everything taken off them. You wrote a lot of blog about your former house, my instinct is that either you have been evicted or it was yours but has now been repossessed. Or you may simply not be able to afford to live there anymore as you were a scientist but now a cleaner. I can tell the ‘dog faeces’ matter is becoming a serious issue and you seem to have been demoted in life very much. My advice is that you seek professional advice and if it isnt the case then I recommend you try voluntary work as you will meet people far worse off than you. And if you like animals then I suggest you get a pet as you then have something to care for and something that cares for you. I wish you the best of luck with getting your life back on track.

Dawn, you’re crazy; you seem to have serious self-esteem issues (like Darnell, eh?) and obviously reality TV was no good for you; you seem to have gone on a downwards spiral into insanity. Maybe you should get a pseudonym and try and get back to normality, or maybe you need professional help, I dunno. Rest assured that the average person doesn’t hate you, but you obviously have some serious problems with yourself.
