Big Brother: Day 35 Highlights!
Day 35
6.15am: All the housemates are asleep, apart from Rebecca who has been woken up by Belinda’s snoring. Frustrated, she jumps out of bed and says in a raised voice, that she’s had enough and then gets back in bed. Woken up by Rebecca, Belinda gets out of bed and goes straight to the Diary Room. She tells Big Brother that ‘we have a problem’ as her consistent snoring is keeping the housemates awake. She says she doesn’t mind going to B Block for a few nights, but she’s not wanted there. She asks for Big Brother’fs help. Big Brother tells her to talk it through with her housemates.
11.03am: Luke and Mikey are talking in the luxury bedroom. They decide to hold a house vote to decide whether Belinda should alternate nights between the luxury bedroom and B Block. Luke tells Mikey to go and speak to Kat and Rachel to persuade them to return to the luxury bedroom, as then they will have the majority vote. Mikey finds Rachel in the kitchen. He tells her the plan but Rachel says, “I’m not getting involved … I feel sorry for her as it’s not her fault. We should just focus on the task”. Mikey informs her that the task is suffering as some housemates are just too tired to make the effort.
1.34pm: Most of the housemates are practising the Irish dancing task in the living room. Dale is the choreographer. Luke and Rebecca are in the luxury bedroom talking about Belinda. Luke says, “She’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met … she’s a hoot!”. Rebecca agrees and tells Luke she reckons that Belinda will win. She says, “She’s going steal Darnell’s 100 grand of him”. Stuart joins in the conversation and questions ‘why Darnell’. Luke tells him that Darnell will step on anyone along the way to win the top prize. The conversation turns to Rebecca being up against Mario in this week’s public eviction. Luke says that Mario told him that he has a lot of fans so he’s not worried about leaving, also that Mario said he feels sorry for Rebecca being up against him. Mario walks in and the conversation changes to the task.
1.56pm: Housemates are practising the task. The drummers are out of time and the dancers are out of sync. Luke watches the dancers and says, “What the hell is this!”. The housemates laugh.
2.12pm: Sara, Rex and Rebecca are in the bedroom discussing the difficulty of the task. Rex says they will fail as the drummers are completely out of time. Sara says, “We are so going to fail”. Rebecca agrees and declares that there is no point in carrying on. Rex agrees, saying that it’s just too difficult and even he can’t get the hang of it.
Luke is in the Diary Room. He describes the dancers as ‘a group of flamingos after they’ve been shot’ and that housemates have no chance of passing the task as it’s proving just too difficult. Big Brother asks him, aside from the task, what the mood like in the house. He says, “Not great Big Brother. I’m outraged that this time next week I’ll turn 21 and I want to spend it with my friends. This week two of my best friends are up for eviction and I’m going to find this Friday very hard to deal with”. He adds, “I do not want Rebecca to go. It’ll be like losing a limb if Rebecca went. We’ve been inseparable in this house and I’m not going to be happy at all”.
2.48pm: Sara asks Lisa how she will feel if Mario goes this week. Lisa tells her that she’ll deal with it and that she’s an ‘independent woman’ and will be fine.
7.36pm: The housemates are gathered in the living room ready to perform their task. They are dressed up in traditional Irish dance outfits and the drummers have been given their drums. They perform the task and at the end of the routine they all clap and cheer. Luke says, “That was a total disaster”. Choreographer Dale tells the dancers, “Honestly, that wasn’t that bad”.
8.38pm: Big Brother has gathered all the housemates on the sofa for the results of the task. Big Brother tells them the drummers incurred the maximum of three fails in the introduction alone and the dancers had numerous fails that were impossible to add up. There housemates have failed the task and will only have £1 per person per day for their shopping budget. Dale looks sad.
9.03pm: Mario and Mikey are in the garden discussing this week’s shopping budget. They discuss Rex and how he wants to spend £6 on alcohol. Mario and Mikey agree many housemates are not bothered about spending money on alcohol and that it’s only Rex who really wants it.
10.19pm: Housemates are sitting down to dinner. Big Brother has provided them with two bottles of wine and eight cans of beer for trying hard in the task. Mario and Mohamed are in the kitchen pouring themselves more beer without letting the other housemates see. Back at the table, Rebecca is shouting that some people haven’t had any alcohol. Rex tells Mohamed that he shouldn’t be in charge of distributing alcohol if he can’t do it fairly.
11.22pm: Some of the housemates are rating themselves on how good a lover they are. Rex gives himself 10/10, Darnell gives himself 8/10 and Luke gives himself 2/10. They then list what body parts they like best. Sara says eyes, Darnell says smile, Luke says bum and Rebecca says a person’s hair. Rebecca and Darnell have words when she implies that he is boring.
12.01am: Mario is talking to Big Brother about being up for eviction. He tells Big Brother that he is approaching it from the ‘position of a facilitator’.
Mohamed and Darnell and are in the bedroom talking about Rebecca. Darnell feels that him and Rebecca are really similar and therefore doesn’t understand why she thinks he is boring. “She gets on my nerves” he says.
3.06am: Belinda is asleep, snoring in the luxury bedroom. Rachel, Maysoon, Darnell, Rex and Kathreya are at the sofas talking about Mario. “He has 100% changed” says Rex. Rachel adds that Mario has been ’super nice’ to her. Maysoon also feels that Mario is a nice guy but Stuart feels that the new housemates can’t see what he’s really like. Rex thinks Mario will go on Friday as he’s a gossiper and so far all the people who have been talking behind people’s backs have been evicted.

She cannot help snoring, strange how everyone has conveniently forgotton how loud Mario snores. Snoring is annoying but there are worse things in life, you cannot evict someone because they snore, shame or we could have got rid of mario from the beginning.
