Big Brother hopeful Allister Logue commits suicide?
Two months ago, 55 year old Allister Logue had been hoping to win a place inside the Big Brother house, but just a few weeks later he was killed by a train in London’s Charing Cross station.
Police think that the club promoter and former makeup artist may have committed suicide, just days after he was forbidden the chance to appear on the Channel 4 reality TV show. On Big Brother launch night, Allister stood in the Elstree compound, beside Irish girl Caoimhe Guilfoyle. She was later chosen to enter the house, while he was sent home but no one could have guessed that just week later the Ibiza party lover would be dead.
Last night a British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers attended Charing Cross London Underground station after a report that a man had been struck by a train. The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious.”
Unreality TV interviewed Allister in June. At the time we noted his shaking and tremors and compared him to Ozzy Osbourne in a later chat with fellow journalists. Producers insist that he passed their stringent psychological tests and one has to wonder, would a stint on the show have driven him over the edge or ultimately saved his life?
