Big Brother Housemates Embark On French Task
For this week’s shopping task, housemates must celebrate cycling season and become au fait with all things French. The task will take the form of four separate challenges.
Heavenly Housemates will be tested on the sensitivity of their palate, their appreciation of French food and their ability to mime.
Hellish Housemates will be required to cycle two bikes for 520 miles each as they take part in Le Tour De Grand Frère.
The challenges will be as follows:
LE TOUR DE GRAND FRÈRE
Hellish Housemates have 30 hours in which to cycle two racing bikes the 520 kilometres of Le Tour De Grand Frère, (a combined total of 1040 kilometres - the equivalent of cycling from Paris to Madrid).
Luke is ill and will not take part
WINE TASTING
Two Heavenly housemates will be required to become wine connoisseurs. Housemates must learn to identify 15 different French red wines from their taste and bouquet.
BON APPETIT
Two Heavenly housemates will be required to become food gourmets and must demonstrate their love of French cuisine by taking part in the French Food Challenge - eating a 5 ft long brie, grape and salad baguette within 20 minutes (one Housemate each end).
THE ART OF MIME
Two Heavenly housemates will be required to master the discipline of mime. They must learn 15 separate mime actions which they must utilise in an improvised performance.
If housemates pass three or more challenges, then housemates will pass this week’s shopping task and will receive a luxury shopping budget of five pounds per head per day.
If housemates fail two or more challenges then housemates will fail this week’s shopping task and will receive a basic shopping budget of one pound per head per day.
