Big Brother: Josie Gibson and John James Parton break up but still phone each other every day
We earlier revealed that Josie Gibson and John James Parton have split, but an insider claimed there is still hope for their relationship.
The former Big Brother housemates met on the Channel 4 reality TV show and have been dating since it ended last September. However, Gibson took to twitter this morning to reveal that in the words of Ross and Rachel, they are now on a break.
Josie’s new reality TV show starts on Five in a matter of weeks and these break up scenes will certainly draw more viewers in. A publicist for Objective Productions who are making the series also tweeted about the split, saying that the pair are still in touch and may reunite.
She wrote:
Both Josie & John James have been brilliant to work with during the filming of the show. They still chat every day on the phone…
and even though they are taking some space, there is still hope for their future together…
The ins & outs and details of their relationship will all be revealed on “There’s Something About Josie” coming to our screens in May on C5.
The chatting every day on the phone comment makes us wonder how long to two have actually been apart. Especially considering Josie just tweeted five days ago saying:
Wishes @John____James would go down the shop and get her a lion bar. I’m in my jim jams now. Come on john. X
Do you think the split is for real? Do you think the relationship was for real? Or is it possible that the whole thing is just one big Katie Price style set up, designed to draw us in and convince us to watch Josie’s new show?

JJJ fans are stupid pathetic and deluded. Can’t they see that John James and Josie’s so called relationship was a business contract for 6 months. 6 months is over, so is ‘relationship’. JJJ-followers need to develop brain cells.

Look, ‘Triple J’ fans, they were fake. If you think this was real love then you are really stupid. I know the people on Digital Spy Appreciation Threads have zero life, so hopefully this ‘split’ will help you to finally leave this pretend romance and live real life.

Haha. Is it not more sad that ppl who don’t like jjj are spending time in their lives reading a story about them, then leaving a comment about it. I think so. Like me for instance I don’t like Russell Crowe, think he is an arrogent so and so, therefore I don’t read stories about the man or watch any of his movies. Simple. If u do t like jjj don’t read/comment on stories about them. I for 1 hope they can work things out. They are an adorable couple and it saddened me(not devastated me, as an above poster wud male u believe) when I heard the news about their BREAK!

I hope they can work things out – but obviously if they want different things out of life they won’t.Josie wants a good time going out, John James seems more content to stay in but can’t understand why he doesn’t mind going out with JJ. Sort yourselves out!!
i wouldnt normally reply to this but i have just seen rayons comment and it makes me so mad!! why do people have to get personal and bring up peoples weight and looks??…i think josie is lovely, she proved herself to be totally genuine in the bb house, she never changed and she won deservedly! she is a very pretty, bubbly girl with tons of personality and i say good luck to her, grab every opportunity with both hands and run with it….anybody would do the same….im quite sad that it hasnt worked out with john james….i loved watching their relationship grow in the house…its their lives…let them live it their way…
