The BBC have reported that former Big Brother contestant, Lisa Jeynes, has failed in her attepmt to bring a libel case against the News Of The World and Love It! magazine. Lisa claimed that both publications had portrayed her as a man, posing as a woman.

But the judge threw the case out of court and refused her the right to appeal after declaring that no reasonable reader could conclude the words bore the meaning she alleged.

Lisa, who now lives on benefits has also been ordered to pay for the court costs of £6750.
