If you’re used to catching up with Big Brother on the web while you should be working, then you’re in for a shocker this year folks!

Word has just reached us that Channel 4 are cancelling the live feeds and are replacing them with downloadable clips. According to The Sun, a pilot of this new method was run during Big Brother Celebrity Hijack earlier this year.

On the face of it, this seems like a far better idea - let’s face it, if you wanted to watch it live, it’s on E4 virtually round the clock. Even the re-runs of Friends stop during Big Brother!

The only possible concern is - with less live streaming going out to the web, will it be harder to keep up with the show, and will it be easier for the producers to cut the footage together to suit editorial agendas? One wonders…hmmmm.
