Big Brother: Pete Bennett Dumps Nikki Grahame and Goes Back To Ex
It seems that his Big Brother win was just the start of Pete Bennetts lucky streak, he just can’t seem to get enough of the ladies!
Just days after ditching ‘Princess Nikki’, a former bandmate of Pete’s says he’s gone back to an ex-girlfriend.
Wobbly Bob, the guitarist from Pete’s old band, Daddy Fantastic, told Now magazine that Pete’s gone back to an ex-flame.
Bob said, ‘He’s split with Nikki and he’s now with Gemma.’
Fellow bandmate, Nimbus, says Pete is now infatuated with Gemma but can’t see it going the distance.
Nimbus said, ‘She gave him the run-around for over a year before he went on Big Brother. He was in love with her and she treated him like s***.’
Nimbus shed light on Pete’s love struck pain saying, ‘She even got off with someone in front of him, so he was depressed for quite a while about that and we looked out for him. So why does she want to be with him now?’

Pete is the nicest, kindest, sweetest, funniest, sexiest, most caring person ever! he is such a nice person and he’d nerver say anythying bad about anyone. he’s so cute with his tourrettes and always saying w***ers! I think these people need to use the spell check for a start, the first one particularly. Pity there’s no checking grammar either – come on, KT, what are you on about? You make no sense! Although I can gather that you love Nikki (?) and dislike Pete. Why it’s that way round I do not know. I thought Pete was mad to take on that spoiled little brat in the first place, but now he has finally seen sense and got rid. She was entertaining in the house I’ll give her that, but seeing her on that programme of hers is beyond ridiculous. Her mother should be ashamed to have brought her up this way. She showed nothing but arrogance, selfishness and had no consideration for others whatsoever. She’s immature and pathetic and I hope it’s not long before someone smacks some sense into the dozey bint. We all have to get on in this life and the world owes her no favours, any more than the rest of us.
What sort of mother would she make?! It doesn’t bear thinking about! She can’t even cope with touching a slab of chip fat without squealing like a piglet, never mind a crying, helpless baby! Madness. The end.

I think I agree with Esme, about practically all of that. I have no idea what KT was talking about. I read, and re-read that one, and still couldn’t figure it out.
I think Nikki is just a spoilt brat. She saw the opportunity with Pete and used him, for her own benefit. Good luck to him now, as I am sure that his girlfriend (although she sounds like a bit of a s**t), couldn’t be as irritating as Nikki. Imagine spending day in, day out with her whinging.

I think Pete is the weakest, most cowardly excuse for a man I have ever come across. In and out of the house he would pretend to have a relationship with various females and then run around behind their backs running them down to anyone who would listen and especially in the diary room. He does not know what he wants…in love with Nikki one day and dumping her the next, without even telling her but smearing mud around the media. She is better off without him and he has lost the best thing that has ever happened to him, NIKKI. No matter what your age and how long you have been in love with someone, losing that person hurts unbearably and Nikki really loves Nikki…WHY WHAT is ther to love???

Pete didn’t have the courage to walk away from Nikki but used the same tactic he had used with all the girls – he buried his head in the sand – somehow managing to poke it out just long enough to reveal his ungallant version of the ‘truth’ of the break-up via a magazine article.
Everyone should follow their dream of happiness but there are so many bodies lying kicked in the ribs or tripped up along the way it does appear that Pete has a very ungallant way of spiralling towards his goals in life.
It emerged only days after dumping Nikki that Pete is back with an ex-love Gemma/Cherry who was conveniently waiting in the wings. From the newspapers this morning it appears she may also have jettisoned a lover to reach Pete so it seems this new coupling is veering somewhat rapidly towards the old clich̩ Рthey deserve each other.
Nikki deserves much better than Pete in his widest dreams was able to give her so hope she’s able to look on the whole episode as a timely and lucky escape and find happiness elsewhere.

I didnt know Pete had left his old band “daddy fantastic”, thats a shame I never even got to hear them play.
He could at least have brought out a CD or something to tap my toe to, never mind.
Hope pete and nikki find happiness eventually.
PS Isnt Nikki a little too old and around a foot too short to launch a career as a model. Only said this cos up and coming models tend to be around 14yrs old and 5ft 10- 6ft tall.
Kate moss (great bone structure) is the shortest model I’ve seen and she’s a good six inches bigger than little Nikki.

A photgraphic model can be any height and there is so much work out there for her. The shots in the magazines are really lovely and capture many different expressions and moods.
Why do people have to see something unclean and weird in everything. Nikki’s fans like her for her uniqueness and find her very amusing. She is also a very sweet person who has had a hard life and had the courage to come out on top.
Pete has made some big mistakes over the Nikki break up but he does have the right to choose his own way of life and who he wants to go out with even though we are gob smacked at his choices. It is just so sad that he has had to hurt so many people along the road of his choices. In BB he threw his arms in the air and called on God to help him in his ‘hour of despair’ when Ashleyne messed up his bid for votes. I hope he does the same now, before he messes his life up any further (and the lives of others) We can only wish them both well for the future.

nikki is awesome!!!! n i totally dnt understand kt, but in a wierd way i kinda do?!?!?! pete was so boring on big brother with that whole, i am so caring act. i mean who cares? we dont want to see someone play the drums for an hour, we wont action and that is what nikki gave us. nikki is so better than pete and can do so much more for herself. plus that girl is not wierd, she has had a bad childhood with her anorexia and all. im amazed she still has a little bit of sanity left!

Pete is just the same as he was on Big Brother. Big Brother wasnt real life, it was a TV programme.
Young Pete is now living his real life, without edited highlights, directors, producers, researchers etc.
He cannot be the illusion that people created in their heads. People also cannot blame him for not being a fantasy figure.
He’s just an ordinary guy, really really quiet, who was in a band and has tourettes. He never proclaimed he was a saint or stable, even though the programme potrayed him a bit too perfect, but that was the producer’s aim.
The public got a suitable hero and people’s champion over the summer, Pete gets some money and publicity, the producers got publicity, channel 4 gets advertising income. SO THEY ALL WIN.

They are bringing celebrity squares back I’ve heard.
In the past it had 9 celebrities in 9 squares, but because she is so good with expressions, She will appear in all 9 squares via TV trickery.Pulling 9 different faces or expressions. So I’ve heard in the Tracie Beaker magazine yesterday.
The producers are using her natural ability to host the show as well. But I’m not sure if this is true, thats what Tracie Beaker said anyway.

If anyone knows what other TV shows Nikki is on we would love to know as we have missed a few due to not knowing. Tabby Kat believe it or not, there are loads of us, ordinary people, out here who love Nikki because she is unique, funny and a very nice girl who has been abused by so many. We admire her pluck and wit. We dont have to be agents or someone looking for reward we simply think Nikki is great and would like to see more of her but with out the abuse.

i think pete is kool i look up to him as a roll model for all people suffering with tourrettes.i thought he loved nikki to bits well maybe so but not in a love love kind of way i thought nikki was pushing it a bit with the way she was planning there wedding already when she was only going out with pete for a week or to. it is a shame that they split and petes gone off with his ex but i wouldnt have been able to cope with nikki all the time no disrespect to nikki i think shes fab but she is anoying from time to time…

Dr E Lewis, did we watch the same BB. I love Nikki to bits but she certainly cried a lot…nothing wrong with that but I agree she was always the first to comfort someone in need, even comforted Ashleyne although she was getting off with Pete at the time and nikki was hurting so much.
Kirsty Pete was the first to talk about marraige..eloping to be exact..when he was telling Jenny in BB about how he felt about Nicky while Nicky was in the house next door. Nikki kept saying she was not going to push things with Pete and wanted to give him all the space he wanted. She took the back seat many times. Pete is just a fickle person unable to commit to anyone. This Cherry he is with now apparently led him a merry dance and so kept his interest. Should she wear her heart on her sleeve like the others did, she will find him moving on. He is afraid of committment. I believe he really loved Nikki but let his friends and family and especially Lea come between them. All the bad things that people wrote about Nikki would have helped too as he has to feel he is with a popular girl but at the same time she must not be more Popular than he is. She is better off without him as she would never have fitted into his world and he is happy where he is and does not want to change.

If it is true that Pete’s latest, Cherry/Gemma, is giving her money received for a magazine interview to charity, it would not be a surprise at all, as it has been rumoured that Pete is throwng his money around on all his ‘clingers’ so she does not need it. Pete’s friends have said that this is the reason she has suddenly shown a renewed interest in Pete after humiliating and dumping him before he went into BB She looks more his type. Nikki can do so much better and could never have fitted into his weird world.

Nikki was on This Morning today and came across extremely well and is doing absolutely fine. When Fern asked about boyfriends Nikki answered she wanted to enjoy what she was doing and stay single for a while. Wise girl she’s doing well with Princess Nikki – watch out for the mountain rescue – and each time I see her she reconfirms that we’re watching a new star rising.

I dont know how I missed that one but I was referring to Pete’s side of mentioning eloping (marraige) as he could not possibly know what Nikki was saying on the outside so it was a statement made to Jenny without any influence from Nikki except his ‘overpowering’ love for her. Was all that performance and begging for just 5 mins with her and all the love scenes when she came out, just an act. After all, Cherry was always in the background apparently.

Tabby Kat I have just the article you recommended earlier on in People.co by Alice Walker. Cherry (the ex stripper and currently going out with Pete) really treated her boyfriend, Maxx as badly as Pete treated Nikki. Why they could not have told their exes face to face, we will never know but they sure deserve each other and their exes have had a fortunate escape. Maxx says they were cheating their partners while still dating them, with each other. Pete is such a let down. I never was impressed with him in BB..a big act..but when he went out with Nikki and we had glimpses of a sane, normal human being, I thought he was quite nice..what an illusion.

I liked Nikki in the BB house as she was fun, witty and honest so a compelling and interesting HM. Thanks Katie. I agree Glynn (or Nikki) should have won. He is a lovely fellow and terribly funny. Cant wait for his show to come on in Nov. At least we still have Nikki. Am really sold on these live comedy shows where the people are just being themselves…no matter how different they are from people we know in our own lives..maybe BECAUSE they are so different. I love Glynn and Nikki for their openess and one liners and tremendous senses of humour.

This story has been squeezed more than an old milking cows udders and it is now dry and withered like an old milking cows udders.
People are now re-writing history and saying Glynn made the show this year, which is quite odd as no-one said this when young Glynn left the house,it was Pete, but it has suddenly dawned on them months after they actually preferred Pete.
No-one really commented on how great Glynn was on his blog at the time.
which leads me to believe people are

or
people writing blogs are lying and we are infiltrated again with the odd tv researcher, as endemol are considering giving Glynn his own show and researchers are testing the water about Glynn’s popularity.
This blog is really about Nikki and Pete’s non relationship , but has switched into a Glynn appreciation society for no logical reason(Which I dont mind, cos Glynn is great) simply because the producers now want to know what people think about Glynn.
For TV Producers, Glynn is honest, funny, decent, not a coward or wanabee.

So any references on the blog to Heat are from PR directing you in what to read.

‘Me’, Nikki might have some of the failings you mentioned but in spite of all, she is very entertaining and has a lovely side as well…that is why so many people love her. Ignorant she is not. She is a very intelligent girl but does get carried away emotionally. She would be the first to admit that.
Such a shame she is meeting up with Pete for a talk. He is a waste of space and time. A total mess. It is nice to see Nikki going out with normal guys again. That she is seeing someone she fancied before Pete came along. (Amongst others). Good for you Nikki. Now he says he is taking her to the TV awards..trying to get extra votes by being nice to Nikki now, after saying horrific things about her and then denying saying them and flaunting Lea, Cherry and AShleyne…his type for sure. Well tonight showed us who the real winner is. NIKKI. Must have been a shock to Pete but maybe now he will realise what he tossed aside and for what? But I am happy Nikki has moved on as they did not fit into each others worlds. Well done Nikki, we are so thrilled for you and very proud of you. Lets hope we see you on TV again soon. We have missed you these last couple of weeks.

DAWN – You are wrong. Nikki is not too short to be a model – she is the same height as Jordan – 5″1! ! !
The common misconception is that all models have to be 6″ monsters, but in fact the only time height comes in to the equasion is for catwalk and catalogue. What about glamour, photographic, promotional, art, portrait, media, advertising, the list goes on. And in fact, Promotional models have to be between 5″ and 5″10 as they must appear approachable to the public at roadshows etc.

At first I was really sad that they broke up but I was not surprised because Nikki had such a terrible time with a certain paper. They just did not leave her alone while she was with Pete. Half the reason they broke up was because of the negative press. Congratulations DS you achieved your goal. But, why oh why are you still bashing her. Let her live her life and have fun. She deserves to be happy. She is a little ray of sunshine in my eyes and I just want to see her on the TV. She definitely has star quality. Its funny that when she was with Pete her popularity dropped, like he seem to drain her of her positive energy, but now that she is not with him she has become a free spirit and finding her at last. Part of me wants them back together but the other part says stay away. I do believe things happen for a reason so we wont really know the outcome for a long while yet. One of my favorite films is ‘The way we were’. I just love it because it is complex, sad and real and we know what happens in that film. I feel Nikki and Pete will have the same ending. Lots of regrets, lots of memories and lots of longing for each other but never getting there.

I have read the articles in today’s newspapers and I dont believe either of them. I am so bored of negative press – it is doing my head in. Leave them alone for god sake. Talk about something else for a change. Victoria Newton – get a life – we the general public are feed up with horrid stories, how about some happy news for a change. Stop the Nikki bashing.
You just have to read most of these posts and DS BNNP to understand that Nikki is popular so get over it. She has just won an award because she is popular. I am glad she is out of the country and having a ball.
I wonder if she is going on I’m a celebrity. Duncan is conveniently in the far east – I wonder if he is also on the same show. Just my imagination running riot. HA HA.

Pete wants to marry Gemma. I didnt think he was into marriage. I think he is trying to convince himself and everyone else including Gemma that he loves her. I am not too sure as they both seem a bit desperate and insecure about each other. Too many stories in the paper for my liking, too much information blah blah blah. If it is true love would you not want to keep it more private. If it is true love why did it not happen years ago. Just my take on it.
Nikki you had a lucky escape, but I think you know that already.

I have just read the line up of I’m a celebrity and Nikki is not mentioned. Quite glad really to be honest. She would have been edited badly again.
Nikki where ever you are have a great holiday and don’t read any papers. They are full of s**t. You are one tough cookie and you have surprised so many people with your professional attitude. I expect you want to scream at all these anti-nikki reporters and say ‘who are they’ but I applaud your silence. Always remember less is more.
I hope Pete stays silent now and just promotes his book and music. That is what he should be all about. Not 48 hour s*x sessions. Please!
