Big Brother: Pete Bennett Finally Dumps Nikki Grahame!
A very depressed Nikki Grahame revealed to the press this weekend that she has been sensationally dumped by Big Brother winner Pete Bennet, and all because he couldn’t cope with her famous tantrums.
When speaking to The News Of The World, Nikki, 24, confessed to flying into one of her famous hissy fits when she was squirted with vodka at Pete’s friends party.
She said: “Everyone knows how obsessed I am about hygiene. I thought I’d been spat at so you can imagine how I reacted.”
Pete also got angry complained about his pets smelling like ‘doggy woggies’.
But Nikki protested: “That’s hardly a good reason for someone to end a relationship.
“I’ve never been so happy in my whole life as I was with Pete—but right now I’ve never felt so low.”
Pete spoke to Nikki last Wednesday and told her that he didn’t want a relationship and just wanted to be friends.
Nikki said: “I told him, ‘But I love you very much.’ Then he told me he felt differently. I could not believe what I was hearing. I said, ‘I love you so much I will do anything for you. I’ll always fight your corner. I still want to be with you.’
“He said to me, ‘But it’s only me Nikki’ meaning he wasn’t worthy of the love I was giving him. I cried for two days when he told me. I’m still finding it hard to cope now.
“People come up to me in the street and say, ‘How’s Pete?’ and the tears flow.”
Nikki is adamant that her’s and Pete’s relationship was real despite what people may think, she stated:
“It was a very, very real relationship, not just a TV romance.”

ithink nikki and pete was for real you could tell by looking at them both that they thought a lot of one another.pete as been taking bad vibes from them bad lot in brighton he cant have a mind of is own he takes everthing what people tell him he got to learn to have mind of his own or he will never get on in life.nikki was everything to him even when there were five weeks to go on big brother he was crying for nikki and richard told him that nikki would be there for him when he got out the house so weres his friends coming from that he never felt anything for nikki because thats not true.i think pete had got strong feeling for nikki and now pete is being miss lead by them so called friends.nikki is the and pete knows that.

I disagree with Pete really being in love. I think since so many people talked up a relationship between him and Nikki, Pete began to believe he had feelings for her.

I’m well gutted that Pete and Nikki have broken up! if it is to do with Nikki’s temper tantrums why did Pete
tell her in the BB house that he was atracted to her
tantrum’s and odd little ways? I hope that Pete comes to his senses after a bit of time spent without Nikki
in his life and they perhaps will get back together again.I worry that Nikki is emotionally fragile and will

Surely it’s just a case of Pete realising that he mistook his feelings of friendship for love in the pressure cooker of the BB house. It’s not like he’s cheated on her. No one needs to “hate” pete or nikki. It’s interesting that there’s loadsa press about Nikki at the moment but very little about pete. He could come out guns blazing about the “vodka/spit” incident but hasn’t. As a postscript - his so-called “friends” are doing more harm than good to his PR campaign with all these stories…

Thank god Pete woke up, after all “WHO IS SHE????” Nikki does nothing for my nerves all that screeching and temper tantrums, I bet Pete thought he had a 2 year old for a girlfriend. And as for her new programme Princess Nikki couldn’t Channel 4 find something better I just wanted to throw her overboard when she dd the fishing boat task, the remote wasn’t close enough but I had to switch it off, and I never switch off the TV!!! Who cares!!!!! Let them get on with it, I find it very strange that there are people on here who are actually upset about this split, or who are blaming Pete for being badly influenced by his friends - what a load of nonsense! Pete has woken up and smelt the coffee, and Nikki has entirely brought it on herself with her constant whining and becoming incredibly up herself and thinking she’s a ‘celebrity’. No wonder Pete dumped her, who wouldn’t get sick of an attitude like that! And if my boyfriend was rude to my friends in the way she has been to Pete’s mates, on multiple occasions, he would be dumped too - end of!

i really loved the pete and nikki story. pete gave me renewed faith in mankind and they both proved that there is nothing wrong with being a bit odd. i thought they made a lovely couple- seeing past the things that others couldnt. i have heard lots of different things about the two of them and i just hope pete wasnt too influenced by his friends- although their advice is no doubt valuable he hopefully thought with his heart. i would love them to get together again- obviously nikki does need to try and curb her tantrums but pete already knew this was her and said he liked it.well hopefully it will work out for them either together or not

It was all for publicity in the first place! They dont match! I read in a magazine in an interview with nicki sayin that they r soooo in love and that they were an item. i turned over 2 pages to an interview with pete and he said they were just friends and he wasnt sure if he wanted a relationship with her…. its like…Hello! Which one was actually tellin the truth?? I think its for the best that they r split up, we might actually get some quality out of magazines now.

Pete just does not know what he wants. In BB he pined away for Nikki, begged for ‘just five minutes with her’ and then nearly ate her alive for days after she came back into the house and now suddenly his old band and the best thing that ever happened to him, Nikki, are not good enough for him. Disgusting the way he ran her down in the Heat magazine, a weak after saying, in Heat, how he wants to get married and have a son ect. Wake up Pete and grow up. Maturity is attractive in a man.

Nikki was the best thing that ever happened to Pete. I believe she was sincere about her feelings for Pete but Pete obviously was not. She has loads of money and did not need his. She was keen on him while he was a toilet cleaner…before he won BB. She has never run him down, remained loyal in spite of his disgusting media betrayal..He betrayed her, himself and his fans. As for her not being good in bed…ask yourself why Pete, who ex of an eighteen month relationship, thought she was the greatest and according to the press, wants her back. Can someone please explain to me why Pete Bennett is going to be this Massive Superstar that everyone is predicting. I realy liked him on BB and voted for him to win but since he left the house I dont know anymore. Apart from his initial post win interviews and photoshoots the only reason he has got into the papers and celeb mags was because of his relationship with Nikki. So what now is going to keep him in the spotlight. I suppose ‘The Break Up’ will for the next week or two, what then . Hes going to have to or rather his management will have to come up with something to keep him on the front page espically now the X Factor has kicked in and Im a celebrity is weeks away. They are olso going to have to do some damage control over the way Pete dumped Nikki. After reading some of the comments Pete made about their split it has certantly made me think twice about him and Im not the only one.(Why did he show the txt message that he sent to his friends, poor Nikki she must feel so betrayed. It was below the belt Pete, well below and not necessary)
Pete has been offered a £million for his autobiography and hes working with Robbi’s old song writing partner putting together a solo album. I dont doubht that he will make money but how good a singer and entertainer is he. According to the hype you’d think he was the next best thing to Elvis, but as Iv never heard him sing or watched him preform I havent a clue, I am however expecting something absolutly amazing when he does, edventuly get up on stage.
Its a lot of pressure for the lad, theres so much expectation of him. He has a book to write and an album to create and hes yet to be signed to a record label. Thers the recording of his music and a video to shoot to go with his first single, the promotion of his book, single and album which means travelling up and down the country book signing and preforming, not to mention all the radio and TV interviews he’ll have to do and it will all be solo. No bandmates to engoy the experience with and no Nikki to snuggle up to. I wish him all the best but Im not sure he’ll have the staminar or the stomach for it all. I hope he proves me wrong.
ps. Has anyone seen him in concert or preform pre or post BB?
Ok yes Id like to read his life story and listen to his music for curiosity sake but unless hes the next Elvis I cant see me buying his CDs let alone paying to go see him in concert. Anaway books and albums dont get written and produced overnight public are fickkel,they need to fed a constant supply of information on their chosen idol or thy loose intrest.

I think that nikki and pete looked so good together despite nikki’s tantrums i think they could of been together for a long time but think that pete didnt go by his own instincts and had help from his friends maybe. i was really shocked when i found out that they had split up and i honestly thought that nikki really was upset and was truly in love with him. So can we just sort something out now. I know it will upset a lot of you but lets face it Nikki is TV Gold.
Pete is a nobody, he succumbed to peer pressure and dumped Nikki because she did’ent fit in with his peer group, oh diddiums. Oh what a soft , inconsequencial pathetic boy he is. You might think Im harsh but I had a brother who’es disabillites were much worse than Petes, he suffered a lifetime of abuse and myself along with my other brother and sister suffered bullying because of his disabilities but we never succumbed to peer pressure, we stuck together, united against the predjicious and believe me we all took some stick. Hes dead now my challenged brother but he is most definatley not forgotten because he challenged everybody, he never took the easy ruite.
Pete needs to grow up and become independant despite his disabilities.Personally I dont believe he has the capibility to form a lasting, longterm relationship,thats not to say he is a shit boyfriend or partner more that he dosent have the mental capacity for commitment. Pete I believe he has a butterfly brain, he jumps from one idea to another and the fact that he is a talented musicion thats not a critisium but having said that I dont believe that Pete has the mental capacity to to grow up I dont He is unable to form a lasting dosnet

Anayway where was I, oh yes Pete and his butterfly brain. Its not a critisism its an evaluation, I may be wrong, Iv never met the boy but he strikes me as deficient in some areas. He appears very naive, almost childlike at times in his simplicity, very similar to Nikki. His previous relationships have never lasted the course so its not supprising his relationship with Nikki ended so soon. Much as I love Nikki she was to hot to handle and Pete was too influenced by his ‘friends’ for it to last. Having said that I truly believe they were a match made in heaven. Nikki as dysfunctional as she is has a stronger head on her shoulders, Pete knows what he wants but is too weak to step up and say it. He conforms to the norms of his peer group but having said that he has dumped his band which makes me think hes not such a pushover afterall.Iv said it before and Ill say it again, ‘Would the ‘Real Pete Bennett please stand up’, Who Is He?

I think that pete was right to dump nikki, we all know she cant help being the way she is- but does anyone lse get the feeling shes been acting the whole for example she knew her tantrums caused her popularity so when she arrived back in the house she played it, and with pete bennet even from her audition tape she said ” i would love it fi a boy fell in love with me and he would win”… so hen nikki got out the house she realised she could further her career by “falling” for pete when in actual fact she played it, and then became attached to pete. Another example is when imogen said loads of ppl will vote if there some lesbain action so then not 24 after she kisses lea and aisleyne hmm!
But i do really feel sorry for nikki on the other hand as my opinion is that nikki intentionaly didnt like pete but knew he would win, and then became attached hence the heartbreak.
also pete stated that he falls in and out of love easily , not only he said it but his ex Gilly, said after a year he realised he didnt have love but friendship, the same story he told nikki!
I think although pete was the public favourite , and he was a brilliant house mate he is also a dark horse as he has came ouyt of winning and ending it with nikkiunscaved and better for it and his band im sure are going make alot of money, i think its as much petes fault as it is nikki’s.

I think both nikki and pete were very entertaining whilst in bb7,nikki did get a little irritating at times,geniun attraction was there but there was always going to be the question who would be in the spotlight the most.pete may have changed since hes been out not coming accross as the careing loving man he portrayed,but nikki changed the second she came out the bb house.once she realised her tantrums were a focus point she played on them and they became fake and played out to the max.her genuin tantrums pete could cope with but these fake ones who can blame him 4 leavin her.he shouldnt be puttin her down (in bedroom department)thats just low,well top and bottom of it is she now got real reason to have a real big tantrum.

I’m not in position to say anything about someone elses relationship. But I will ask the question to which I ponder on and that is why?????? Why they need to get it together. Both Pete and Nikki were very entertaining and right from the beginning I admired pete for coming out in the open and for standing up for whats right and for making people aware that people with disabilities can be intergrated into society and its not a decease as some people may think. But I think the both of them should stay as they are for now and that , unattached,

THAT SO CALLED CHERRY IS JUST USING PETE FOR THE MONEY AND THAT’S A THING NIKKI WOULD OF NEVER DONE BECAUSE WITH NIKKI IT WAS TRUE LOVE FOR PETE WITH NIKKI AND I THOUGHT THAT HE WOULD OF MADE A FRESH START WITH NIKKI AND CHANGED IS WAY OF LIFE ALL TOGETHER. Well at long last Pete has made some kind of appology to
Nikki in Heat magazine.I still feel that to break up with her over the phone and not follow through with meeting up with her to explain himself was really cowardly of him.He says that Nikki hasn’t contacted him since but surely HE should have been the one to make the first contact and arrange to meet up with her? I feel that he’s been advised to do some damage control
hence the Heat magazine article.Pete’s back with his ex. so maybe she can fulfill ALL his needs?

I have voted for Nikki several times for the NTA awards
I do hope she wins.It should be very interesting because
Nikki and Pete are suppossed to be going to the awards
together??? (this will be the first time that they’ve
seen each other since the split)I think that Nikki is
managing to move on now and I would love for her to win
the award I think that to win the award would make her
day.I do hope that we keep seeing her on our screens from time to time (I thought that Princess Nikki was great and she made me laugh when she was on 8 out of 10 cats)good luck Nikki!!!!

I’ve just heard that Nikki won the award and she and Pete went together to the awards.Nikki said that she and Pete went on a journey together this summer and were going to remain friends.Well done Nikki!

I am so glad Nikki won, she so deserved it. The general public got it so right. They know the truth. I think Pete loves Gemma but for the wrong reasons, maybe out of duty or because of his vision. He is just going with his head not his heart. The look on Pete’s face when Nikki won and she was doing her speech. His face lit up and he looked incredibly proud of her. Is it me or what but he always looks more handsome when Nikki is around. There is definitely something there. Pete says all kinds of strange things, he can not help it, but his body language is alway consistent. On the stage I think he just wanted to grab her, he did not know what to do with his hands.
I think he will stay with Gemma because he thinks it is the right thing to do but I bet he has Nikki on his mind. I would rather be the girl he thinks about than the girl he is with.

It is amazing. We have Nikki, Circus de Celebrite, Strictly Come Dancing, the X Factor and many other shows and who draws the most attention NIKKI. BB and Princess Nikki are over but our Nikki is still very much in the limelight. Good for you Nikki and hope you are having a wonderful, well earned holiday in Dubai with your Mother.

I wonder if Nikki is really out in Australia waiting to go on I’m a celebrity. A scary thought but if she could pull it off and face her fears that would be one achievement. I would definitely back her all the way. She said at the awards she wanted to met Ant and Dec so may be that was a hint. Her callendar also seems to be quite clear so I hear so where ever you are Nikki - good luck.

Yes I have also seen the list now and I am actually relieved she is not going. I think she would have been edited badly and we all know the fun and caring side would not have been shown.
She is now the new face of the Macmillian Cancer Trust so I hope we hear some stories relating to this and not this endless ‘Nikki has tantrum on the moon’ rubbish.
When she gets back from holiday I think she is going to be really busy.
By the way I have heard a section of Pete’s new song and I actually like it. It’s on Myspace.
