Big Brother: Pete Bennett Writes Album With Guy Chambers
Big Brother’s 2006 winner Pete Bennett is said to be working on his first album with an acclaimed songwriter.
Pete, who gained mass popularity on the show for his off-beat antics, was previously in a band with friends in Brighton known as Daddy Fantastic.
However, the new material is reported to be a solo effort.
Guy Chambers, who is behind hits such as Robbie Williams’ Angels, is now working with Pete, and, according to the Sun, believes he can turn him into a “Billy Idol for the 21st century”.
A friend of Pete reportedly told the paper: “Pete’s a fan of Billy Idol. Let’s face it, he looks a lot like him so Guy’s using that as a template.”

I think that as new doors have opened for pete he should follow his heart and do what he wants to do.
He only has one life so there is no point on wasting an opportunity when it comes along.
I am interested in what his music will sound like as it was great ,the tunes he made up in the big bro house.

What a pathetic joke! I can’t wait to hear what they do! I am going to laugh my head off! Robbie can sing & has class & talent! Pete is a stupid chav with an illness! That’s it! Guy Chambers will drop Pete when he realises that he cant sing! What’s it going to be? ‘Sugary Love’? Sad! Very, very sad! At least Daddy Fantastic made him look cool! On his own he’ll be even more of a gimmick than he already is! It is greed that made him dump his band, nothing more!
i’m not gonna say i’m pete’s #1 fan coz theres alot out there who think they are, i can only say 1 thing, i know pete in a different way, dream the simular things he dreams, and i know his feelings in a different mad kinda way.
ANYWAY…
pete had alot of crap when living in brighton, got in to a lot of bad,mad crap, so for him to go at it alone is one masive step for him, and i only hope that daddy fantastic can only be proud and happy for him, pete will never forget where he started, he’s not a selfish person.
i know pete will do it, go far and be great, and i know that even if the spot light does’nt shine long, he will still be happy, coz he would of achieved some thing
he never thought was possible 3 years ago.

I don’t think this is a good move for pete. I love him to bits but guy chambers is a money hungry businessman, who is hellbent on making Pete into a product.
There is more of a musical base with Daddy Fantastic, and they care about him as a person, not as a product. Pete has done little so far with Chambers and I feel that the whole deal is bad news.
