Big Brother star Angel McKenzie on tonight’s Red Or Black

We were a little shocked when we tuned in to Red Or Black tonight and saw a very familiar face on the new show.

The gameshow launched on ITV this evening and former Big Brother contestant, Angel McKenzie, made it through to the final eight who all had a chance of winning £1 million on the live show.

We checked out her Facebook page, where she confirmed that she had won a place on the show, writing:

“Should i say it proudly? dont know? but i’m one of the eights contestant to win 1 million pounds on a new Simon Cowell show “Red and Black”. Came last night through the last audition… very exited… live in september on ITV with Ant and Dec… still can not beleive it…”

The 37 year old boxer and artist starred in the 2009 series of Big Brother, when it still aired on Channel 4.

She became the third housemate to be evicted from the reality TV show, after she and Halfwit (Freddie) were nominated in a live nomination and she received the least amount of public votes.

Speaking about her big chance on tonight’s Red Or Black, Angel told ITV.com:

“I like to entertain people! Life can be so boring, I want to entertain and prove that miracles and good things can happen.”

At the end of tonight’s episode, Angel made it through to the final contestants for tomorrow night’s live show, though many on Twitter were in uproar, saying she already had her shot at TV fame. Leave your comments below.

The chick angel who has reached the final 2 was on big brother in 2009- she is money hungry-she could have given sum1 else a chance because she got obviously got paid on big brother! Its actually annoyed me because someone else could have had a chance to win and change their lives. There should be a rule to only appear on one tv show when competing for money unless its for a charity.

I totally agree with Nicola. Angel had her moment of fame on Big Brother. She blew it then, hope she doesn’t win tonight… she’s greedy and we’ve seen enough of her already

…not to mention her plans for how she’d spend it were just wasteful, in comparison to those genuine ones, who’s lives would be totally changed by such a windfall..yet more exhibitionism…

Read newspaper today saying Red or Black was new ITV show hoping to increase ratings on ITV, Brains behind the show Mr Simon Cowell who quoted in the papers today “It is not about talent or skill. It is just down to luck” Watched it and Angel McKenzie came on and thought NO WAY out of 1000′s of people she get down to the last 2!!! It’s a con and a fix!

totally agree with all the comments above, this was a total set up from start to finish, out of over 100,000 people that low life degenerate manages to get to the final two??

Yeah right. And does she really think that fetching a teddy bear on stage, dressing like a sailor(ish) gives her any appeal? me and the wife were disgusted when we saw her ugly foul mush on “prime-time” tv.

So much so, we watched the first half then turned off and watched the grey screen you get when your TV isn’t tuned in correctly.

I will not watch another episode of this drivel. Fixed is not the word.
