Big Brother Starts In Nigeria And Aims For World Domination!

It now looks like by the year 2010 every country in the world will have their own Big Brother Series!

To date the following countries have joined in the Big Brother craze

  1. UK
  2. USA
  3. Australia
  4. Sweden
  5. Brazil
  6. The Phillipines

and now it seems the Big Brother format has spread as far as Africa, with Nigeria launching their series on Sunday, March 5.

Digital Spy reports that the show

“will last for thirteen weeks (91 days). Twelve Nigerian contestants will compete in the traditional manner for a final prize fund of $100,000 (£57,000).

The English-language series will air three times each week on pan-African channel M-net; a 30-minute nominations show will air on Mondays, a 60-minute highlights show on Wednesdays and a 60-minute live eviction show on Sundays. Live coverage will air for 20 hours a day on satellite service DStv.”

Next year we’ll have a North Pole Big Brother with Santa Claus as the suprise house guest!
