Housemates awoke this morning to find themselves slap bang in the middle of the Big Brother University.

Signs had appeared on the walls, directing students to their Halls Of Residence, Lecture Room and Students Union, a shield bearing the establishments name adorned another wall, and a new pool table had been placed in the kitchen.

The housemates were then informed that they would be assigned one of four subjects to study, Communication studies, languages, English literature and drama, and anatomy. Aisleyne and Glyn were assigned communication studies while Imogen and Mikey got anatomy. Jennie and Pete will study English literature and drama and Richard and Susie will have to learn a new language - Welsh.

For the duration of the task each housemates must wear the university uniform which comprises of t-shirts and hoodies displaying the University logo, as well as cream trousers and skirts for the boys and girls.
